Royal Worcester `Italian Renaissance` centre piece designed by James Crook, shape 1051, circa 1885, the upper section being of shell form having figural decoration depicting a manacled triton, dragon and foliate decoration in relief and having a partially pierced rim, the pillar base supported by four dolphins and standing on a circular foot, the whole with silvered and gilded green and ivory glaze, base with printed marks, 40cm high.
