Lord Snooty and his Pals original propaganda artwork by Dudley Watkins from The Beano Nov 16 1943 (probably issue 219). Snitchy and Snatchy build an aeroplane from scrap aluminium. Hitler hears about it whilst listening to the BBC and sends Hermy (Goering) to capture it. The Luftwaffe refuse to fly it against `der Spitfires` and make Hitler take it back to England ... Some discolouration to some of the panels. 21 x 15 ins

In the 1950s Serov began making copies of the work as demand for such `propaganda` works grew. This is thought to be one of the artist`s own copies, and was brought from the Ukraine to the UK in the early 1990s. The original copy of this work was presented to Mao Tse Tung. Unframed, 117 x 84".

Al frontespizio marca tipografica raffigurante Gesù che manda gli Apostoli a predicare per il mondo entro cornice ornata con il motto `euntes in universum mundum praedicate evangelium omni creaturae`. Legatura d`attesa in carta azzurra. Splendido esemplare, a fogli chiusi e con testimoni. Prima e unica edizione ? curata dal professore di lingua greca e responsabile della tipografia della Congregazione di Propaganda Fide Giovanni Cristofano Amaduzzi. L`opera costituisce il primo esempio noto di caratteri dell`alfabeto malayalam a stampa. La lingua malayalam è strettamente imparentata al tamil. L`alfabeto tamil (o più correttamente, il sistema di scrittura sillabico o abugida tamil) deriva dal sistema di scrittura Grantha (libro, manoscritto), antica scrittura che predominava nel Sud dell`India. A British 5 May"" Iron Lusitania medal."" A British propaganda copy of a German medal issued to mark the sinking of the Lusitania off The Old Head of Kinsale, Co. Cork, on 7 May 1915 (the medal is incorrectly dated 5 May). The obverse shows the ship sinking with weapons piled up on its decks. ""KEINE BANN WARE"" (""NO CONTRABAND""), and the reverse shows a skeleton selling tickets for Cunard to a queue of passengers inscribed ""GESCHAFT UBER ALLES"" ""BUSINESS ABOVE ALL""). These copies were sold for one shilling each in Selfridges to raise funds for charities
