A Poole pottery Delphis range small circular bowl, decorated by Josephine Wall to the base interior with a stylized flowerhead, black printed mark to base with numerals '86' and black painted artist's monogram, together with a Shorter & Son floral decorated vase, an oversize pressed glass thimble and a studio pottery bowl.
A Poole Pottery circular ship dish, circa 1950, drawn by Margaret Holder and painted by Ruth Pavely with 'The Golden Hind' within a rim edged in yellow and painted with green triangles, the title flanked by two roses, black painted and impressed marks to base with numerals '528', diameter approx 37.3cm.

Arnold Hanson Knight (British, 1906-1949) The Sailing Ship Pamir at Poole signed lower left "Arnold Knight 1937" watercolour 53 x 35cm Provenance: The family of Arnold Knight and by descent Son of a London architect, one of six children, moved to Hayling Island, then to Parkstone, Dorset, then Green Vista in Lilliput, Poole. To accommodate Arnold's polio which he contracted at the age of 13. Keen sailor.

He was a keen sailor and and oarsman and a talented landscape painter, known for his views of Dorset and Gloucestershire. He joined the Royal Air Force and worked as a draughtsman on the Folland Gnat, the first plane used by the RAF Display Team the Red Arrows. He showed at the Royal Academy, the RBA and the Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool.
