An exhibition standard 7 1/4 inch gauge model of London Midland and Scottish Railway Coronation Class 7P 4-6-2 tender locomotive ‘Duchess of Buccleuch’, 6230, built by John Adams of Poole, the brazed copper super-heated boiler with all fittings including quadruple safety valves, swivelling regulator, blower, whistle, brake, injector and blowdown valves, the fine cab with fittings including reverse gear with indicator and locking lever, sliding firedoors, draincock and ejector levers, pressure and twin water gauges, and wooden-planked cab floor with scale checker plate, the chassis with four fitted cylinders with Walschaert’s valve gear, brass lubrication boxes, twin ratchet oilers, draincocks, sanding gear, steam brakes, quality rivetwork, scale wash out plugs and doors, lamp irons, steps, hand rails and vacuum hoses, also a Crewe Works plate No.9752-1938, and smoke deflectors, the tender with fitted hand feed pump, hand brake, water pick-up controls and scoop, water valves, working steam-driven mechanical shoveller with cylinder guides, exhaust condenser, lifting eyes, lamp brackets, steps, hand-rails and vacuum hoses, finished in lined maroon livery with polished bright-work, 290cm long, 53.5cm wide.
