An eclectic ceramic lot to include seven provincial blue and white Chinese ginger/paste pots, each with blue and white scenes of rural provincial life and town life, some with seascapes, height of largest 19cm, a Royal Worcester potpourri bowl (lacking cover), hand painted with summer roses and forget-me-nots, gilded basket weave base, puce mark, union flag and no.1286, 156.64 to base, height 13.5cm, two c1970s Poole shallow bowls, each with sunshine yellow ground, one with green, orange and yellow floral decoration, the other with yellow, burnt orange and black decoration, diameter of largest 16cm, a group of 19th century Oriental inspired ceramics, all in the Famille Rose palette, a sparrow beak jug with central hand painted enamels of flowers in Oriental vase with tassels, an English tea bowl and saucer with floral and swag decoration, a tea bowl and saucer with hand painted flower sprigs, a bowl with hand painted sprays of flowers, interior border of roses and ribbon, number to base N186, and a plate with central floral spray of flowers within a dot and ribbon border (af). CONDITION REPORT Smaller Poole bowl has as rim chip and some crazing, All apart from Worcester vase have some cracks and chjps, sparrow beak jug lacking handle, English tea bowl has crack form top to base, plate has six staples to a crack.

Handkolorierter Kupferstich, in 12 Segmenten auf Leinwand aufgezogen. Maße aufgefaltet 47 x 62 cm. Mit begleitender OPp.-Broschüre (20 S., Kl.8°). Zusammen in marmorierter OPp.-Schachtel mit kolorierter und montierter DIllustration (diese etwas gebräunt und berieben). Sehr seltenes, altkoloriertes Parcours-Spiel. Das Spielbrett besteht aus 26 Vignetten, die verschiedene Naturwunder darstellen. Das Begleitheft enthält die Spielanleitung und eine Beschreibung jeder Vignette. Zu den abgebildeten Wundern gehören unter anderem der Ätna auf Sizilien, heiße Sandwirbel in den Wüsten Arabiens, die Poole-Höhle in Derbyshire, das Auftauchen eines Vulkans im Atlantik nahe der Insel S�o Miguel auf den Azoren, die Quelle des Arveyron im Eismeer, die Basaltsäulen auf der Insel Staffa im Archipel der Hebriden, die Antiparos-Höhle in Griechenland, der Pico del Teide auf der Insel Teneriffa, die Teufelsbrücke in der Schweiz, die Niagarafälle, ein Wasserfall am White River in Jamaika, der Maelstrom auf den Lofoten in Norwegen und sprudelnde Quellen in der Stadt Geysir in Island. Zum Ätna heißt es im Heft, dass ein Ausbruch im Jahr 1669 5000 Häuser auslöschte und einen riesigen Berg mit einem Umfang von zwei Meilen bildete; bei den Erdbeben nennt der Autor das von 1755, das den größten Teil der Stadt Lissabon mit ihren 70 000 Einwohnern verschluckte. - In den Rändern etwas gebräunt und teils unscheinbar fleckig. Insgesamt gut erhalten, insbesondere die Farben. Very rare, old coloured course game. The game board consists of 26 vignettes depicting various natural wonders. The accompanying booklet contains the game instructions and a description of each vignette. The wonders depicted include Mount Etna in Sicily, hot swirls of sand in the deserts of Arabia, Poole Cave in Derbyshire, the emergence of a volcano in the Atlantic Ocean near the island of S�o Miguel in the Azores, the source of the Arveyron in the Arctic Ocean, the basalt columns on the island of Staffa in the Hebrides archipelago, the Antiparos Cave in Greece, the Pico del Teide on the island of Tenerife, the Devil's Bridge in Switzerland, Niagara Falls, a waterfall on the White River in Jamaica, the Maelstrom on the Lofoten Islands in Norway and bubbling springs in the town of Geysir in Iceland. On Etna, the booklet says that an eruption in 1669 wiped out 5,000 houses and formed a huge mountain two miles in circumference; on earthquakes, the author mentions the one in 1755 that swallowed most of the city of Lisbon with its 70,000 inhabitants.- Somewhat browned in the margins and partly unimpressively spotted. Overall well preserved, especially the colours.
