An unusual Poole Pottery slipware bowl, with goose design, reportedly potted by Phoebe Stabler, factory mark No 15 (1922-34), incised initials 'CCC', 34.5cm diameter Crazing and slight glaze losses.Note: When consigned to us, this bowl bore a paper label to base inscribed in ink 'Potted by Phoebe Stabler'. Our vendor asked us to remove this label in order to search for any initials or mark made to the underside and we followed this request. No futher marks were found and the label has been destroyed in the process, but we hence included the phrase 'reportedly potted' into the current description.
