A large Poole pottery "purse" vase, decorated in the sunset pattern, moulded and inscribed marks to the underside, 25.5 cm high. CONDITION REPORT: There is a small glaze blemish on the rear interior rim, the rim is black apart from this 5 mm x 2 mm section. The small blemish is glazed and may be a firing flaw. Moulded marks to the underside, initials monogram AC. There appear to be no obvious faults, chips, cracks or restorations and the vase appears to be in good order throughout.
