Chinese boxwood figure of Shao Lao together with a pair of Japanese bamboo brush pots (3). Figure with staff seperated from the head. Section of cloak re glued to the bottom right. Small chip to the cloak on the opposite side, crack in the back of the cloak. Some very minor splits in the bamboo pots.
Parker Hale percussion Whitworth Hexagonal bore .451 rifle, with 36inch barrel secured by three bands, fitted with dovetailed tunnel target front sight and folding ladder rear sight, colour case hardened lock, chequered stock, serial number 624, together with three sample 490 grain round bullets which the rifle shoots with good accuracy and one hexagonal twist bullet.UK RFD OR FIREARMS LICENCE WITH CORRECT VARIATION FOR A .451 RIFLE REQUIRED TO BUY THIS LOT.133cm long Condition report: The outside appearance of the rifle is very good all over with only small signs of use. The bore has not been cleaned out properly since it was last shot and a well oiled rag returns dirty black / dark brown. Using a bore light the bore looks good in most areas but there looks like there could be very light surface pitting around mid bore however this might be dirt that can be cleaned up with wire brush. The bore has now been sprayed with a light protective gun oil. The nipple and surrounding area all look ok without serious problems. The gun has had some sights mounted to the stock which have now been removed and plugged with wood pegs.

French Model 1872/74 Dragoon Troopers Helmet, steel body with brass trim, large central brass section with foliage and French fused grenade. Leather backed brass scaled chinstraps, brass fluted plume holder with a replacement feather plume fitted. Brass comb having mythical head figure to the front and black horse hair brush plume. Interior of the helmet with a brown leather liner, which is slightly loose in places. Some wear but generally a good example.
