Britains - Over 100 loose Britains plastic Farm animal, Farm workers and accessories. Lot includes Britains #2058 Farm Labourer with brush; #2152 Jersey Cow; #2045 Shepherd; #2201 Ram and similar. Items appear a couple Fair Plus - mainly Excellent - Mint condition with some minor storage wear. A Queen Elizabeth II silver three-piece brush and mirror set, comprising hand mirror, hair and clothes brush, each of traditional design with shaped outline, engine-turned decoration and rectangular cartouche engraved with 'J Violet' marks for Birmingham 1969 and 1971, maker W I Broadway & Co, sold along with a silver topped cut-glass powder jar and atomiser, embossed with foliate scrolls and birds, Birmingham 1973 & 1975, conforming maker.

B2001.2.1154).

Chinese Export School (19th century) An album with 118 fine original drawings of traditional trades, crafts people and pastimes, brush and black ink, on traditional Chinese handmade paper, drawings to both recto and verso of a double folded album leaf, each side approx. 295 x 290 mm (11 5/8 x 11 1/2 in), minor spotting and surface dirt, a few small pin holes and nicks to edges, contemporary red morocco, spine gilt and with letters 'Chinese Sketches', some loss to lower section of spine, rubbed and scuffed, numerous small losses to covers and corners, large 4to, [probably circa 1830-1850] *** From the early late 18th century on, numerous artists in Canton were commissioned to produce artworks for the European market, with the present album being a fine example of the skilled and precise Chinese draughtsman. The various characters include diverse trades and crafts such as hat making, decorating porcelain, making lanterns, numerous examples of food preparation, and more obscure characters including a man walking his dog, the dog adorned with a large nose ring.

Naoyuki Matsubara (Japanese, 20th c). Group of three studio pottery ceramics, two with boxes. Glazed stoneware with the artist's iconic brush patterns. Each marked along the underside. With a certificate of authenticity.Height ranges from 4 in to 7 3/4 in; width ranges from 3 1/4 in to 5 1/2 in; depth ranges from 3 1/4 in to 3 7/8 in.Condition:All three pieces are in excellent condition; no visible chips, cracks, or dents. When inspected under UV light, none of them show a sign of restoration. All pieces have very light wear to the underside, as expected. The cup has a mintue crack to the foot rim, smaller than 1/8 inch.
