Top Stones fan released rarity with this German 1983 LP featuring Andy Warhol artwork. The record (1D 1266, black vinyl) is in glossy VG+ condition with some light surface hairline marks, these never at all heavier in nature. The sleeve is in solid VG condition with some foxing noted on the front and reverse though no rips or tears.

Landy (Michael) Break Down, card dividers with tabs, with scrap of orange plastic from a destroyed item loosely inserted, and final sheets showing the destruction process (with orange plastic debris clearly visible), flyer for the exhibition, cuttings etc. also loosely inserted, original translucent plastic ring-binder, 2001 § Aycock (Alice) Projects and Proposals 1971-1978, one of 1000 copies, folding plates, original board folder with printed label to upper cover, Allentown, Pa., 1978 § Martin (Jean-Hubert Andy Warhol: The Late Work, 3 vol., illustrations, original wrappers, together in slip-case, sealed in publisher's wrapping, Berlin, 2004; and 5 others, exhibition catalogues, one miniature, v.s. (8)⁂ The first is an inventory of all Michael Landy's possessions at the time (over 7000 items) which he then proceeded to destroy as an art installation over two weeks in a department store in London in February 2001. 45,000 visitors observed the breaking down of objects, one being the vendor who was allowed by a security guard to remove the enclosed piece of plastic from a pile in a corner.

Hamilton always carried a small polaroid camera with him, and upon meeting other artists he would ask them to take a photograph of him with it. They were produced by the Campbell Soup Company under license from the not-for-profit corporation The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts, Inc. which promotes the visual arts. Kusama recalls the first time she ever saw a pumpkin. When she was a young girl she visited a seed-harvesting ground with her grandfather and noted that she was 'enchanted by their charming and winsome form'. In her autobiography Infinity Net, Kusama quotes 'And there it was: a pumpkin the size of a man's head... it immediately began speaking to me in a most animated manner.' Consumed by drawing and painting from a young age Kusama's parents did not support her following her passion for art. Eventually her parents let her attend art school at the Yoto School of Arts and Crafts to study Nihonga, a traditional Japanese painting style. In 1958 Kusama moved to New York and became embedded within the pop-art movement coming into contact with artists including Andy Warhol, Donald Judd and Joseph Cornell. Kusama's work was ground-breaking as a Japanese artist in a Western society and a female artist in a male-dominated world. The recurring patterns and dots stemmed from a frightening experience as a young child where she was struck by hallucinations of talking flowers in a field, the expanse of flowers looked like a field of endless dots. Kusama's work is iconic for its vivid, colourful and playful nature. Her name has become synonymous with dots, pumpkins and infinity mirror rooms, which have led her success in interactive art installations.
