1984 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Transmission: automaticMileage:47487The Silver Spirit was unveiled in October 1980 as a replacement for the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. Direct comparison, however, showed only small differences. The new models had slightly grown in length and width; height had been cut a little, although the styling was more modern than that of its predecessor. The interior was dominated by the expected combination of fine wood and sumptuous leather. The Silver Spirit was similar mechanically to the Silver Shadow, benefiting from the superb Rolls-Royce 6,750cc, V8 and sharing many mechanical characteristics of the model it replaced. The instruments were supplemented by digital units which gave such information as the time, elapsed driving time and external temperature and were the first Rolls-Royce to be fitted with a retractable Spirit of Ecstasy. This impressive Rolls-Royce was ordered by franchised dealer Dutton-Forshaw as their demonstrator vehicle. It was registered by them in December 1984 and presents both stylishly and subtlety in special order Ice Green coachwork with a beige leather interior. This look is enhanced with contrasting carpets, gold coachlines and whitewall tyres. The car was purchased by its late owner in 2010. He was a dedicated car enthusiast and owned vehicles by some of the world's most famous marques including Aston Martin, Porsche and Maserati but we are informed that his favourite by far was this Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit which was used for 'high days and holidays'. We are also informed that during his tenure the servicing for the car was done in house at his company. The cars bodywork and interior trim are both in tremendous condition as is the woodwork which appears unmarked. The carpets are unworn, and the car is complemented with a full set of sheepskin over rugs and a complete and unused toolkit. The boot area is unmarked and the engine bay is extremely clean and tidy. This 'time warp' Rolls-Royce is offered to auction with an impressive file of paperwork which includes factory specification and build sheets, an original service book with 15 dealer stamps, an original owner's handbook pack, 28 previous MoT test certificates, a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until February 2024. This car has only become available owing to the death of the owner and is offered without reserve.

Lot 153

2003 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Coupé Transmission: automaticMileage:67000Using modern build techniques, drag coefficients and powered by a state-of-the-art, all-alloy V12 engine, this was a 'first' for a production Aston Martin and this modern masterpiece was subjected to more testing and development work than any of the marque's previous models.Equipped with all-round independent suspension, and either a new six-speed manual or ZF five-speed automatic with manually selectable ratios, as this example is equipped with, indeed the 15 diameter wheels too were unique to the Vantage which also featured cross-drilled and ventilated Brembo disc brakes and equipped with ABS.With just 67,000 miles covered from new, this has been cherished by the vendor since he acquired it some two years ago with trips to Le Mans and other GT-style events. When not used, it is stored, garaged, and under a (supplied) cover.Other noteworthy features include a mesh grille and new tyres on unmarked alloy wheels. Finished in Solent Silver with a magnolia leather interior piped in blue, the overall condition is extremely good and is said to drive beautifully. It is offered with a comprehensive service history as can be seen on the Historics website, its original leather handbook, an MoT test certificate valid for a full year and a V5C registration document Service history2003 Pre-delivery inspection Lancaster Aston Martin2002 1,329 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2003 7,306 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2004 10,083 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2004 12,507 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2005 14,648 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2006 17,666 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2006 20,992 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2007 24,250 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2008 29,514 miles Broughtons Aston Martin2009 34,598 miles Broughtons Aston Martin2010 40,973 miles Broughtons Aston Martin2011 47,217 miles Broughtons Aston Martin2012 52,513 miles McGurk Performance Cars2013 55,925 miles McGurk Performance Cars2014 60,446 miles McGurk Performance Cars2015 61,764 miles McGurk Performance Cars2016 unconfirmed miles McGurk Performance Cars2017 63,621 miles McGurk Performance Cars2018 65,077 miles McGurk Performance Cars2019 65,290 miles McGurk Performance Cars

The wheels are unmarked, the bodywork is almost flawless, having been machine polished, and the front end, doors, side skirts, and rear bumper have all been PPF'd. Lot 182

2005 Aston Martin Vantage V8 Coupé Transmission: manualMileage:78350The 2005 Aston Martin Vantage V8 is a two-door luxury sports car that was first introduced in 2005 as a successor to the DB7. It features a sleek and aerodynamic design, with a powerful V8 engine and a six-speed manual transmission. Under the bonnet, the Vantage V8 is powered by a 4.3 litre V8 engine that produces 380bhp and 302 lb-ft of torque. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in just 4.9 seconds and has a top speed of around 175mph. The exterior of the Vantage V8 is characterised by its low, wide stance and classic Aston Martin design elements, including a signature front grille and distinctively shaped headlights. Overall, the 2005 Aston Martin Vantage V8 is a high-performance sports car that combines style, luxury, and power, making it a popular choice among car enthusiasts. This superb example is presented in metallic Obsidian black with a black leather interior. The interior features premium leather upholstery and modern amenities, including climate control, electric seats, parking sensors, a high-end audio system, and a satellite navigation system. It comes with its service book showing 14 services, mostly Aston Martin with the most recent service carried out in June 2022 at 75,000 miles. There are many invoices with details of the servicing and works carried out in the last few years and a Stratstone maintenance print from 2013-2018, spare key, remote fob and a full year MoT test certificate. Its powerful 4.3 litre V8 is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox and sounds fantastic. This is the most desirable of this model being a manual gearbox and it is rare to find one in this condition which is superb.

Lot 219

1974 Aston Martin V8 Saloon Series III Transmission: automaticMileage:  Completely hand-built and requiring over 1,200 man-hours to finish, these motorcars are every bit the gentleman's sporting tourer. Although the DBS was the pre-curser, it shared the same V8 engine until the six cylinder engine option version was phased out in 1972. It benefited, though, from heavier, ventilated disc-brakes, air however -conditioning, fatter tyres and a new and stronger ZF gearbox. With a capacity of 5.3 litres, it was still powerful enough to propel it to over 150mph, heady even by today's standards. The engine switched back from fuel injection to carburettors in 1973 with the advent of the series III model, also distinguishable by the taller bonnet scoop to accommodate four twin-choke (two-barrel)  Weber  carburettors.Originally purchased in 2018 from Aston Martin in Newport Pagnell for the princely sum of £80,000, this Kentucky Blue V8 was scheduled to be used for regularity rallies at various events across Europe. With the vendor living in both London and Switzerland, it suited him well. The car was then sent to Goldsmith & Young Ltd, Aston Martin specialists focusing specifically on the preparation, tuning and racing/performance specification of the marque.Numerous invoices show the extensive works undertaken during the extraction and complete rebuild of the engine and gearbox rebuild increasing the capacity to 5.7 litres as well as preparation/refurbishment of the engine bay prior to re-installation and fitment. A modern Fenair air-conditioning unit was also supplied and fitted and both front and rear windscreens were extracted to ensure a sufficient seal. Numerous miscellaneous electrical issues have been adjusted including window switches, fans, new boot springs, new heater piping behind dashboard and the re-fit of door glass and runners. Various trim work was also undertaken with seats out, repairs and new boot carpeting. In fact, no expense has been spared in the preparation of this car which makes it now extremely reliable. Additionally, fire extinguishers have been supplied and fitted, contrasting red towing eye, for use, most recently, in the Gstaad Palace Challenge in 2020. More recently, it went back to Goldsmith & Young for a brake upgrade, both front discs and calipers were removed with a new set of AP units fitted as well as a brake slave cylinder, wheel bearings, coils and HT leads. The invoices total an eye-watering £53,884 on upgrades alone. The vendor is clearly serious about the quality he expects from his motor cars and the next owner will be very well placed to take advantage of an Aston Martin, complete with FIVA registration, where quality has been at the forefront of its preparation.

Lot 228

2018 Porsche 356 Speedster Homage Transmission: manualMileage:86799The first-generation Boxster (the 986) was introduced in late 1996 and was powered by a 2.5 litre flat, six-cylinder engine. Harm Lagaay's design, inspired by the 356 Speedster and 550 Spyder, stimulated a commercial turnaround for Porsche. Many believe the introduction of the Boxster helped save Porsche from acquisition. It was Porsche's first water-cooled, non-front engine sports car as the Boxster is mid-engine, while in the 911, rear-engine. This layout provided a low centre of gravity, near-perfect weight distribution and good handling. In 2000, the new Boxster S variant was introduced with a larger 3.2 litre engine and the base model received a more powerful 2.7 litre engine. In 2003, styling and engine output was upgraded on both variants. Production of the 986 began at the former Porsche 928 facility in Stuttgart, Germany in 1996. The Boxster was Porsche's biggest volume seller from its introduction in 1996 until the company introduced the Cayenne sport utility vehicle in 2003.For those looking for a unique and very individual driving experience then look no further. This one-off Porsche Iconic Autobody 386 Speedster Homage boasts the classic looks of yesteryear and features modern running gear. It is not just a car that is truly beautiful to look at, but it is excellent to drive and has the benefit of reliability. Designed and built by Brian Hale of DNA Automotive, with a string of top-quality Ferrari replicas and Aston Martin recreations to his name. Bespoke coach built on the platform of a Porsche Boxster 2.7 986 it is a modern drivetrain masterpiece and features the retro styling found in the 1950s and 60s.  Being based on a Boxster it is a seriously fun car to drive. The current owner has adored this special car, only taking it out on sunny days and covering little mileage for the last 3 years. In his ownership, he added a brand-new red leather interior which joins a great specification consisting of heated seats, Pioneer Sat Nav, Bluetooth, Apple Car Play, Air-Con and LED driving lamps. The Boxster used,  is a low-owner, full Porsche history example which now has a total of 86799 miles. This car looks fantastic and is a real head turner.

Lot 232

2006 Aston Martin DB9 Volante Transmission: Mileage:63000The DB9 was the star of the 2003 Frankfurt Motor show where it was unveiled to the public for the very first time. The DB9 was powered by a third-generation version of the now familiar 6.0 litre, V12 and had a top speed of 186mph. It was the first of what was to become a long line of production Aston Martins to use VH architecture, using Superformed parts in the chassis and footwell as well as the body panels. The individual die-cast, extruded or stamped aluminium elements of the VH platform were bonded with strong adhesives and self-piercing rivets to make a lightweight but stiff backbone. Aston Martins have always made the interior of their cars to be very special places. Beautifully tailored with the finest of materials, the DB9 uses Bridge of Weir leather, aluminium and wood. The use of wood in the interior was different from previous Aston Martins with customers offered a choice of walnut, mahogany or bamboo.Originally registered on 1st March 2006 this Aston Martin has had two previous keepers and comes with a very good service history. It has multi-spoke alloy wheels and we are advised it drives well, although the airbag light is on. The vendor has also asked us to point out that the Sat Nav and radio are currently not working. The paintwork will also require some attention. These stylish convertibles are great looking cars and offer style, presence and performance all in one package. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 14th September 2023, this is a fabulous vehicle for the summer ahead.Interested parties should note that the airbag light is illuminated on this car.
