Thereafter, the DB7 Vantage Volante was serviced by fellow Aston Martin agents Chiltern Heritage Centre and Stratstone of Derby. Most recently fettled by the latter on 16th October 2014 at 42,027 miles, the 2+2-seater is understood to have covered just 43,000 or so miles from new. Sporting a Becker navigation system, multi stack CD player, power roof and electric seats / mirrors, the Aston Martin is described by the vendor as being in `excellent' condition with regard to its bodywork, paintwork and interior trim, while he rates the 6-litre V12 engine, `Touchtronic' transmission and electrical equipment as `very good'. The Touchtronic transmission has a sport mode which if selected allows the driver to change gears manually either via the gear shifter or the + and - buttons fitted to the three-spoke sports steering wheel. The leather bound owner's guide supplied with the car holds the full stamped service history and all the relevant ownership manuals, a current V5C and valid MOT until October 2015.
