2000 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Coupé (Manual) Transmission: manualMileage:38013Regarded by many as one of the world's most beautiful cars when released in 1994, the DB7 received many subtle but effective changes over its 10 year life to complement the elegant body design. Originally designed by Ian Callum to be both beautiful and practical and encompass all the unmistakable DB styling cues, it was initially deemed a little underpowered and thus lacking in excitement. In 1999 the DB7 received significant enhancements with the introduction of the Vantage. The Vantage was the first Aston Martin to use the V12 engine and alongside styling changes enabled 420bhp with the manual example achieving 184mph top speed. A more aggressive styling with a bigger front grille, new fog lights, side and indicator lights and imposing 18 wheels complemented the styling refresh. The Vantage interior leather trim was cut and sewn at a special trim shop at Newport Pagnell, where the carpet and wood veneers were also prepared.Originally registered on 30th May 2000 this Aston Martin is finished in the delightful colour combination of Porsche Cobalt Blue with Pacific Blue and Parchment interior. A walnut dash and door cappings, together with dark blue Wilton carpets finish the cabin area supremely well. Having covered a mere 38,013 miles from new, this DB7 has had only three owners throughout its lifetime, the current registered keeper has owned the car since September 2004. Not only does this car have low ownership and mileage, it is fitted with a manual gearbox. Manual examples of a DB7 Vantage are rare and to find a low mileage example is even harder to find. Present in the history file are the original service books, showing the car was supplied by JCT in Leeds. There are nine stamps in the service book, along with a host of invoices. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 8th October 2024, this Aston Martin DB7 Vantage, with its six-speed manual gearbox is sure to create interest. Consignor Stewart Banks.

Lot 172

2010 Aston Martin Rapide Transmission: automaticMileage:23223The Rapide is a four-door, four-seater, high-performance sports saloon, which Aston Martin introduced in early 2010. It was first presented as a concept car at the North American International Auto Show in 2006 and the production version was shown at the 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show. The Rapide name is a reference to the Lagonda Rapide, a four-door, four-seater saloon produced by Lagonda, now a part of Aston Martin. The new Rapide is the company's first four-door fastback saloon since the Lagonda which was discontinued in 1990. It is based on the DB9 and underpinned by the Aston Martin VH platform. The first cars rolled off the production line in May 2010, initially built at a dedicated plant at the Magna Steyr facility in Graz, Austria.Originally registered on 16th October 2010 this Rapide presents in beautiful condition. The black coachwork is unmarked as is the cream leather interior. The first owner of this car was Sir Richard Olver who was the chairman of BAE Systems when this car was purchased new. He owned the car until 2021 when it was purchased by the current registered keeper. Having only covered 23,223 miles from new and with a detailed Aston Martin service history this Rapide presents in absolutely fabulous condition. Supplied with a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until 7th February 2025, are you ready to go and enrol in the V12, four-seater gentleman's club! The Rapide is one of the most responsive and aesthetically pleasing saloons of the 21st century and it's coupled with one of the best-sounding 6.0 litre V12 engines money can buy. Consignor Stewart Banks.

2005 Aston Martin Vanquish S Transmission: automaticMileage:41552A total of 1,086 Vanquish S models were manufactured between 2005 and 2007 following the cars debut at the 2004 Paris Motor Show. Offering a power increase over the standard vanquish that it replaced from 460bhp to 520bhp, other changes included new wheels, a slightly different nose shape, new raised boot lid with a larger integrated spoiler and the addition of a small front splitter for aerodynamic reasons which help the Vanquish S boast an improved drag coefficient. The exterior panels were still lovingly hand finished in the factory panel shop from 'Super-formed' aluminium. Discreet changes to 'S' included a bigger, revised grille, front splitter and a raised rear 'spoiler' built into the boot lid to keep the car stable at high speed. With a top speed exceeding 200mph, the Vanquish S was, at the time, the fastest Aston Martin ever produced.Originally registered on 17th May 2005 this 2005 model Vanquish S is finished in Royal Blue paint with contrasting blue and cream leather interior. This striking Aston Martin has benefitted from a complete no expense spared bespoke retrim which includes the embroidering of Aston Martin Logos into the Recaro back rests. This powerful Vanquish has only covered 41,522 miles and is accompanied by a comprehensive service history. This Vanquish S is ready for the road and the impressive 5.9 litre V12 really sings. An ideal opportunity to unleash your inner James Bond. Consigned by Dominic Lake

2012 Jaguar XKR Convertible Transmission: automaticMileage:49150The XK8 was launched in 1996 to replace the XJ-S. Two body styles were produced, a coupé and a convertible and the car was the first in the Jaguar line-up to use Jaguar's newly developed V8 engine. In 2000, the supercharged XKR was added to the range. This produced a staggering 503 horsepower, a subtle rear spoiler, wire mesh front grille and red exterior emblems were identifying features. The XKR's engine was made in England, the ignition system was from NGK in Japan, the transmission was a Mercedes-Benz 722.6, the lighting system was by Valeo in France and the supercharger was made by Eaton in the USA, it was truly a world car. The redesigned XK was styled by Jaguar's chief designer Ian Callum of Aston Martin. The standard XK model has a limited top speed of 158mph whilst the XKR had a limited top speed of 174mph.First registered on 17th May 2012, this fantastic XKR was built towards the end of the XKR's production run. A desirable convertible model, this 174mph monster presents beautifully in black with black interior and has recently benefitted from having almost £3,000 spent on it with work including refurbishing and refitting the supercharger, replacing the gearbox oil cooler, replacing the timing chains, tensioners and guides, having the pedestrian sensors replaced as well as having a general service carried out. The mohair roof is in good condition and the roof mechanism reportedly works without fault. With five stamps in the service book, two of which are from main dealers and the recent expenditure, this clean late model example offers supercar thrills at a very reasonable price point, especially when one considered these cars cost £70,000 new! The vendor reports the car to run and drive very well with no issues and is only selling to downsize his collection.Supplied with a V5C registration document, valid MoT test certificate valid through September 2024, receipts and original stamped service book. So much car for the money and with such blistering performance and practicality as well, an opportunity not to be missed. Consigned by Will Penrose.

Lot 146

2002 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Volante Transmission: automaticMileage:70598Introduced in 1993 to the public, the handsome new DB7 was styled by Ian Callum, its lines were evocative of earlier Aston Martin models and elements of the DB4/5/6 could be seen in its design. Arguably one of the most attractive looking cars ever produced by Aston Martin, the DB7 was well received and attracted new customers worldwide with its traditional layout of the curvaceous two-door coupé body. At the Geneva Motor Show in 1999, Aston Martin introduced the six litre Cosworth-designed and built V12 engine, developing 420bhp and accelerating from 0-60mph in 4.9 seconds with a top speed limited to 185mph. Ian Callum enlarged the grille, added fog lamps and restyled the valances to give the car a more aggressive look.Originally registered on 22nd December 2002 this DB7 Vantage Volante was supplied new by HWM in Walton-on-Thames. It has a well stamped service book with 20 stamps, the last being on 22nd April 2022, all of the services have been carried out by HWM. Finished in the fabulous colour combination of Silver Birch with Parchment interior with a Forest Green Mohair hood this Aston Martin presents and drives well. The V12 engine bursts into life when requested and is smooth yet responsive in operation. The specification of the car includes Sat Nav and a heated front screen. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate this is a timeless beauty. Consignor Stewart Banks.

Lot 254

2004 Land Rover Defender 90 Td5 Transmission: manualMileage:97000The Land Rover Series I was launched in 1948 and, incredibly, production only finished in January 2016 after a continuous run of 67 years through various evolutions before becoming the Defender, though the design stayed largely un-changed. Outwardly, there is little to distinguish the post-1983 vehicles from the Series III Land Rover. A full-length bonnet, revised grille, plus the fitting of wheel arch extensions to cover wider-track axles are the most noticeable changes. Internally, coil springs offered a more comfortable ride and a permanent four-wheel drive system derived from the Range Rover featuring a two-speed transfer gearbox with a lockable centre differential. A modernised interior and a new series of progressively more powerful and modern engine characterised things under the skin. This Defender is fitted with the brilliant 2.5-litre 'Td5' engine, one of the firm favourites in Defender circles. The engine has been remapped by famed Td5 tuner, Alive Tuning, with an uprated turbo, aluminium intercooler, EGR delete, de-restricted exhaust and washable air filter, we are told it's a blast to drive.  Affectionately known as 'Rex', our vendor has thoroughly enjoyed this Defender, taking it to the Swiss Alps during ski season, covered the Netherlands from head to toe, taken it to Le Mans and on countless camping trips around the UK. The interior has been upgraded with Exmoor leather bucket seats and headlining, as well as having side foldaway seats in the rear, it has a heated windscreen and air conditioning. We are advised the air conditioning blows ice cold at the compressor but the blower needs replacing. The real party piece is the numerous off-roading modifications which have been fitted; these include, Terrafirma twin shock suspension and A12000 winch, sump guards, diff guards and light guards, 1.2 heavy duty Ashcroft transfer box, ARB rear air locker and compressors (including hose for inflating the tyres), ARB style bumpers, rock crawlers, roll cage including bulkhead delete, 35€ STT Pro tyres, patriot roof rack and ladder, ECU relocated to the roof, lazer light bars, LED rear lights, snow vent covers, upgraded rear wheel mount and masai rear windows. Quite simply, if you want a Defender which truly is a 'go anywhere' example, this ticks all of the boxes. Serviced by our Aston Martin specialist vendor in June 2023, before heading off to Le Mans, supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate and a raft of invoices. Consignor Fraser Smith Interested parties should note, this Defender was recorded as a Category D insurance loss in October 2006. Our vendor understands the claim was due to the vehicle being stolen and having the doors stolen, which had to be replaced.

From the 'DJH Ford Collection', an exceptional RS500 in the rarest colour and benefitting from a recent £25,000 engine rebuild. The original Ford Sierra RS Cosworth was the first Ford to wear the Cosworth badge and was presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1985. It was introduced as a means of homologating the Sierra for 'Group A' Touring Car racing, with a requirement that 5,000 cars were built and sold. Launched for sale in July 1986 and based on the three-door Sierra bodyshell, it was designed by Ford's Special Vehicle Engineering (SVE) and was powered by a Cosworth-designed 2-litre turbo engine of now-legendary repute. At this time, the Sierra Cosworth was a new kind of performance car - a 'blue-collar hero' able to humble true sports cars! In total 5,545 cars were produced - of which 500 were sent to Aston Martin Tickford for conversion to the Sierra RS500 Cosworth. If the RS Cosworth was a homologation car, the RS500 was an evolution special. Once Ford had built the requisite 5,000 RS Cosworths, 'Group A' rules allowed an upgraded evolution model to be launched. This could carry changes focused on improving its racing potential, provided Ford sold 10% of the original number as road cars, hence the 500. The RS500 was announced in July 1987 and had a mechanically uprated Cosworth engine (more similar to the one to be used in competition), with power boosted to 224bhp, upgraded brakes, modified bodywork and the cachet of being hand-assembled - the RS500 really is the ultimate 1980's Fast Ford! Indeed, during the model's 30th anniversary year in 2017, the RS500 was named the 'Ultimate Cosworth' by one of the UK's biggest one-make car shows.More details on the RS500 can be found here: https://supercarnostalgia.com/blog/ford-sierra-cosworth-rs500?rq=RS500The car presented here is 1987 Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth (AMT #406 of 500/chassis #GG 38981) in Moonstone Blue, one of only 52 such examples ever produced – the rarest of the RS500s. It was despatched from Tickford on 3rd August 1987, first registered as E202 DFV on the 28th August 1987, and sold new through Bradshaws (Ford) of Preston to its first owner in Northamptonshire. It was subsequently serviced by E Ward (Ford) of Wellingborough, Northants on 3rd February 1988 (6,000-mile service) and again on 6th September 1988 at 11,573 miles. With all known subsequent keepers documented in the accompanying history file, the car was purchased by our vendor in 2021 having been sourced for him by RS500 expert Paul Linfoot of the RS500 Owners Club. The car's previous owner instructed Paul to carry out a bare-shell restoration which was completed in 2016. Prior to this work, the car was said be all original underneath, rust free and retaining its factory-stamped panels. Restored to a near-concours condition, the then-owner liked to trailer it to shows, driving it less than 50 miles during the next five years. The mileage now, supported by invoices and MOT Certificates, is a highly conservative 54,230.Our vendor wanted an RS500 in Moonstone Blue (to sit alongside his Black example, which he’s owned since 1990), perhaps harping back to the love of his original Cosworth, a regular 3-door RS Cosworth also in Moonstone (which he part-exchanged for his Black RS500). Wanting the car mechanically as good as its bodywork, our vendor entrusted Jim Stokes Workshops of Hampshire with a full engine rebuild. The process was exacting, costing c.£25,000 and was fully documented in invoices, plus dozens of photos and a video (all in the accompanying history file). The engine is now in superb condition, run-in with around 1,000 miles covered and the gearbox was also given a thorough overhaul, making the drivetrain perform as well as you’d hope. It’s accompanied by a replacement genuine RS500 book-pack, including handbooks and an unused service booklet (sadly, the car’s original pack was misplaced over the years). Without doubt, a superb example of the legendary RS500 which is highly rated by marque specialist Paul Linfoot. This is a real opportunity to become a member of an exclusive club of RS500 owners at a very attractive guide.Specification Make: FORD Model: SIERRA RS500 COSWORTH Year: 1987 Chassis Number: WF0EXXGBBEGG38981 Registration Number: E501 LBT Transmission: Manual Engine Number: YBD0207 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 54230 Miles Make: RHDClick here for more details and images

Lot 909

From the 'DJH Ford Collection', a remarkably original RS500 from a 34-year ownership, meticulously maintained and cherished by a true enthusiast. Launched for sale in July 1986 and based on the three-door Sierra body-shell, it was designed by Ford's Special Vehicle Engineering (SVE) and was powered by a Cosworth-designed 2-litre turbo engine of now-legendary repute. In total, 5,545 cars were produced - of which 500 were sent to Aston Martin Tickford for conversion to the Sierra RS500 Cosworth. If the RS Cosworth was an homologation car, the RS500 was an evolution special. Indeed, during the model's 30th anniversary year in 2017, the RS500 was named the 'Ultimate Cosworth' by one of the UK's biggest one-make car shows.More details on the RS500 can be found here: https://supercarnostalgia.com/blog/ford-sierra-cosworth-rs500?rq=RS500The car presented here is 1987 Ford Sierra RS500 Cosworth (AMT #266 of 500/chassis #GG 39092) in Black, despatched from Tickford on 21st July 1987 to Hendy Ford of Southampton for sale, and first registered on 1st August 1987 as E500 JOR. Its first owner deciding on leasing it from the dealership, hence the original keeper is recorded as Hendy Lennox Leasing Ltd. Pleasingly, E500 JOR still wears its original Hendy Ford number plates, a rare Cosworth bonnet sticker, passenger footwell fire extinguisher, rear blinds, boot floor catch-net and (unused) parcel shelf and First Aid kit all still in situ - these items were fitted by Hendy Ford for reaching their sales quota. As the 1990s began, the car’s next keeper (our vendor) was the proud owner of a 'regular' Moonstone Blue 3-door Sierra RS Cosworth, however, in March 1990, keen to acquire the new 'halo' RS500 model, he approached his local dealership, Hendy Ford, and part-exchanged his 3-door for E500 JOR. He was to be its proud and diligent owner for the next 34 years. The car’s accompanying original service booklet shows its first owner had it routinely serviced with Hendy Ford, up to 19,600 miles, when our vendor bought it in 1990 (an accompanying sales invoice confirms). Our vendor continued this tradition of servicing at the supplying-dealership, before using Ford specialists Tremona Garage up to 2014 and stamps and invoices relate to that.Over the decades, E500 JOR was used and enjoyed, as these cars are meant to be, making trips around the UK and Europe. Always garaged, maintained and crucially, kept original, E500 JOR survives today as quite possibly one of the most original, genuine and unmolested RS500s we have ever offered for sale. Our vendor has always ensured that the timing belts were routinely replaced, and the car regularly serviced and this regular care has ensured that it has never needed an engine rebuild, painting or welding. It feels and looks all the better for it, not Concours obviously, but with a sincerity which is impossible to replicate. E500 JOR has now covered a conservative mileage of just 60,197, supported, quite remarkably, by every single MOT Certificate since July 1990 and is in amazingly original and wholesome condition – testament to having only ever had two owners, the second for almost 35 years.Being an RS500 devotee, our vendor has ensured that E500 JOR has made pilgrimages to Cosworth, enjoyed many outings with the RS Owners Club, been displayed at shows and featured in magazines. The accompanying history file includes an original and complete Ford book-pack, a spare key, every MOT Certificate since 1990, multiple period photos of E500 JOR, numerous invoices for servicing, maintenance and parts, RS500 material, club/specialist appraisals, a copy of a Tickford RS500 data sheet plus magazines featuring E500 JOR. Also, coming with the car is a specially commissioned Modatek 30th Anniversary Commemorative RS500 piston, #002 of only 30 produced, specially engraved with E500 JOR and Build #266 (see photos attached) - what a great addition to the car.Interestingly and by pure chance, a few years ago our vendor got to know the car's original owner and he was able to send our vendor an image of E500 JOR parked next to an Escort S1 RS Turbo, his son’s car. They got the two cars together again and mocked-up the same photo, in the same spot, some 30 years later (see photos attached). We understand that E500 JOR drives with a pure, unspoilt and original feel and, according to one RS500 expert, its engine is one of the best he’d ever encountered, high praise indeed. Trying to find classics cars like E500 JOR is getting much harder, let alone examples as rare and as sought-after as an RS500; what an opportunity this is, decades of care from a dedicated owner lavished on a car that is considered a 'high-water mark' in Ford’s enviable back-catalogue.Specification Make: FORD Model: SIERRA RS500 COSWORTH Year: 1987 Chassis Number: WF0EXXGBBEGG39092 Registration Number: E500 JOR Transmission: Manual Engine Number: YBD0468 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 60197 Miles Make: RHDClick here for more details and images
