A 1997 Aston Martin V8 coupé, registration number P609 OMJ, chassis number SCFDAM2S2TBR79017, engine number 95/79017/A, Royal Blue. Introduced at The Geneva Show in March 1996, the new V8 coupé featured the Vantage muscular styling but retained the normally aspirated 5.3 litre V8 engine. The model was only available for three years, which makes it one of the rarer Aston Martins. One of the last of the hand built V8 coupés to be made, this outstanding example is everything you would expect from the quintessentially British motoring legend that is Aston Martin. This particular example first bore the registration number AM V8, and was used as Aston Martin's factory, press and test car before being sold into private hands later that year and registered with the current number. The car is beautifully finished in Rolls-Royce Royal Blue with parchment leather seats piped in dark blue, with carpets edged in dark blue and parchment headlining. With less than 36,000 recorded miles on the odometer, it comes with expired test certificates, and an original owner's guide. This modern classic Aston Martin will, due to its rarity, undoubtedly become a much sought after and collectable model of the future. V5C,***MOT to November 2016*** See illustrations
