The outswept arms carved in the form of panthers's heads spewing sprays of intricate scrolling foliage and leading down to voluted scroll feet with a pierced apron of foliage either side and rope-twist carving to the front, approximately 67 ins (170 cms) in length (A/F).

An Elegant Mahogany William IV Settee. The long upholstered back, seat and padded arms covered in yellow fabric woven with trellis design and having striped cylindrical side cushions. The bulge front flame-figured top rail carved with leafy flourishes to the curved ends. The scrolling arm facades crested with acanthus & anthemion motifs. The seat raised on large reeded bulbous turned legs. 37 ins (94 cms), high, 78 ins (198 cms) wide and 22½ ins (57 cms) deep.

The slanted back having a central heart cartouche with cresting shell & scroll embellishments, the centre shield pierced with fleur de lis emblem. The swept s-scroll arms ornamented with foliated terminals above the frontal carved & shaped aprons bearing central shells. The three cabriole legs carved at the hip and terminating with hoof feet. 54 ins (137 cms) long, 26 ins (66 cms) deep, 35 ins (89 cms) high.
