A vintage 1970s three piece lounge suite, comprising settee and two armchairs, each with turned legs joined by front to back stretchers, in orange material, the settee 77cm H, 191cm W, 85cm D. The upholstery in this lot does not comply with the 1988 (Fire & Fire Furnishing) Regulations, unless sold to a known exporter or upholsterer it will be cut from the frame before leaving the premises.

Voysey’s stylised birds and trees became his trademark and because of the popularity of his work at the time, they came to characterise the Arts & Crafts style.

A 19th century mahogany framed settee, the whole upholstered in a striped silk damask, the moulded downswept arms with flower head carvings, all raised on bell-flower carved square tapering supports with spade feet, w.184cm, d.72cm, h.91cm.Stands well, frame strong.No breaks to forelegs.Back legs possibly replacement.Colour good, full and consistent.Some tears and stains to upholstery, but filling is good.
