Offered for sale by the only the fourth keeper, who has had the keys for more than five years, ‘MK09 USS’ comes with original owner’s manual and documentation. The SLK 280 is considered by the vendor to be in ‘good’ condition in terms of bodywork, paintwork, and the interior, while the engine, transmission, and electrics are rated as ‘excellent’. Showing a credible 98,000 miles on the odometer, this SLK roadster can provide the right buyer with an ideal car for summer motoring. Mercedes-Benz’s love-affair with sportscars was expanded in 1995 with the smallest roadster the marque has made in its history – the SLK. The first-generation R170 brought a folding-hard top – dubbed the ‘Vario-Roof’ by Mercedes – at a time when most roadsters were being phased out, and those that weren’t, were offered with traditional a canvas roof. It quickly proved a success for Mercedes, pipping the likes of Porsche, Audi, and BMW in the executive roadster market. The first-generation was offered with a four-cylinder or V6 petrol engine – both either supercharged or naturally aspirated - and either five- or six-speed manual or five-speed automatic gearbox. The R171 second-generation model arrived in 2004, offered with a supercharged four-cylinder engine, or V6 and V8 units. A faster folding time, and more compact folded proportions for the roof were brought in for the second-generation, and optional features included ‘AirScarf’ neck heaters, and remote operation of the folding roof. A facelift came along in 2008, with revised front bumper, LED lighting, improved interior design, and tweaked steering system. It was replaced in 2011, by the third-generation R172 SLK – and later SLC – lasting until 2020 when the model range was cut from the portfolio. · Well-presented example of the SLK-Class compact executive roadster. · Powered by a Mercedes V6 engine. · Highly-equipped model, including electric folding hard-top, and heated leather seats.

Airstream is an American brand of caravans which are easily recognized by the distinctive shape of their rounded and polished aluminium coachwork. This body shape dates back to the 1930s and is based on designs created by Hawley Bowlus. Airstream trailers and recreational vehicles are manufactured in Jackson Center, Ohio. The company, now a division of Thor Industries, employs more than 800 people, and is the oldest in the industry. Airstreamers are a group who share a community spirit because of their common love of the trailers. In the early 1950s, Airstream company founder Wally Byam began leading groups of owners on travels to many parts of the world, where the towed trailers were quite a remarkable sight. Photos taken of the trailers in front of many famous tourist sites were common. This promoted a mystique which surrounded Airstreams that persists to this day. This well preserved 1967 26ft Overlander by Airstream International is presented here in its iconic polished aluminium found outside and within. Offering modern creature comforts after an interior restoration which kept the retro feel but introduced modern plug points and electrics, cookers/hob and lighting. The seating/dining area is trimmed in red to match the diner style and the food preparation area is equally as impressive. The kitchen surface is finished in a light beech and complemented with wipe clean white doors to form a space more commonly seen in high-end domestic kitchens than in anything on wheels. Cooking equipment is a combined oven/grill and a four-burner hob. Ample storage/cupboard space is available as you would expect. Sleeping six with a double bed to one end and the seating area converting to bunk beds. This twin UK axle caravan has been recently residing at the vendors address in the UK but, due to work commitments is no longer used and thus presents the ideal opportunity to own and tour the UK or Europe. Pull up at a nice, secluded spot, open a bottle of wine and watch the world go by in the coolest way to camp. Consigned by Dominic Lake. 6 BERTH WITH OVEN AND HOBRESTORED EXAMPLE

These fabulous and popular little cars were designed in 1959 and were heralded as a new concept in car design. Little did they know or envisage what would become of these great models. With a monocoque shell, transversely mounted engine and front wheel drive, the new 'Mini' soon became popular across the world and to all types of individuals, well healed or not! The potential for competition use was soon seen by John Cooper; he eventually persuaded BMC and the two worked together culminating in the birth of the Austin Mini Cooper and the Morris Mini Cooper in 1961. Victories in the 1964, 1965 and 1967 Monte-Carlo Rallies set the Mini on the road to fame but probably the greatest publicity was gained from their somewhat unfair, disqualification for lighting irregularities in the 1966 event after coming in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. A more powerful Mini Cooper, dubbed the 'S', was developed in tandem and released in 1963.First registered on 26th August 1964, this fantastic FIA rally specification Cooper S has been cherished by the vendor for the past twenty-three years. Wanting for nothing, this car has enjoyed three major refreshes during his ownership with respected preparers Richard Higgs, NVJ Developments and most recently this year with ATA Classics. Whilst it has been built into an FIA specification rally car, due to work commitments, the car has hardly seen any competition. A Longman cylinder head, rally camshaft, competition pistons, uprated gearbox and differential all make this car a potent and quick example. Safety features include; foam filled fuel tanks, fire extinguisher and six-point roll cage. The vendor reports the car to run and drive extremely well and is only selling due to continuing work commitments meaning he’ll unlikely have any time to compete with it anytime soon.Supplied with a V5C registration document, FIA papers and lots of invoices. A versatile car that has had over £37,000 spent on maintaining it to a high level, this wonderful example is ready to rally, race or simply blast to the pub in. Consigned by Will Penrose. Lot 185

Designed by Alex Issigonis in 1959, a new concept in car design was born. With a monocoque shell, transversely mounted engine and front wheel drive, the new 'Mini', as it was commonly known, soon became popular across a broad spectrum of the population. The potential for competition use was soon seen by John Cooper and although Alex Issigonis was less keen, BMC were finally persuaded by John Cooper and the two worked together in culminating the birth of the Austin Mini Cooper and the Morris Mini Cooper in 1961. Victories in the 1964, 1965 and 1967 Monte Carlo Rallies set the Mini on the road to fame but probably the greatest publicity was gained from their (somewhat unfair) disqualification for lighting irregularities in the 1966 event after coming in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. A more powerful Mini Cooper, dubbed the 'S', was developed in tandem and released in 1963. Featuring a 1071cc engine and larger servo-assisted disc brakes, 4,030 Cooper S cars were produced and sold until the model was updated in August 1964. Cooper also produced two S models specifically for circuit racing in the under 1,000 cc and under 1,300 cc classes respectively, rated at 970cc and a 1,275cc. The smaller-engine model was not well received, and only 963 had been built when the model was discontinued in 1965. The 1,275 cc Cooper S models continued in production until 1971.Delivered new to sunny Florida in 1966 this beautiful Island Blue with Old English white roof Mk. I 1275cc Mini Cooper S was repatriated into the United Kingdom in 2017 having also spent time in Japan. On its arrival the car was then subject to a no expense spared nut and bolt rebuild over a two year period at which time it was converted to right hand drive of which much is catalogued. The end result speaks for itself presented with a huge file of expenditure to back up the no nonsense approach to the restoration. Other than a few subtle upgrades in spotlights, Minilight wheels and period wooden steering wheel this car remains original. Offered with the Heritage Certificate and an MoT test certificate until March 2025, this absolutely stunning example is now ready for a new adventure and this Mini Cooper S is ready to be enjoyed by any budding Italian Job afficionado! GLEN GRANT 15 YEAR OLD GORDON & MACPHAIL 100° PROOF 1970S 26 2/3 FL OZ SPEYSIDE SINGLE MALT 100° Proof / 26 2/3 fl oz Glen Grant was the first distillery in Scotland to have electric lighting installed, thanks to its forward-thinking owner, and all-round colourful character, Major James Grant. Grant was an innovator who was one of the first people to realise the potential of exporting whisky abroad. Initially, this paid dividends, and in 1897 The Major began construction of a second distillery across the road. However, as was the case with so many distilleries built around this time, Glen Grant 2 was mothballed after just a few years. Although, it did re-open in 1965 under the name Caperdonich. While it might not be a household name in the UK, Glen Grant is consistently one of the top selling single malts in Italy due to the groundwork laid by legendary importer Armando Giovinetti in the 1960s. It, therefore, seems appropriate that the distillery is now owned by Campari, an Italian company.
