ROSSINI GIOACCHINO: (1792-1868) Italian Composer. An exceptionally rare signed and inscribed 9.5 x 15 sepia photograph by Rossini, unusual in this very large size, the image depicting the Italian composer seated, in a three quarter length pose. Signed (`G. Rossini´) in bold dark fountain pen ink to the lower white border beneath an inscription in his hand (`Souvenir of friendship, offered to my young colleague Dominique Ducharme´) in French, and dated (`Passy de Paris, 15th August 1867´) also in his hand. An excellent signed photograph. Very small lighting to the lower white border, not affecting the signature. Professionally double matted in red and gold with a very rich and attractive classic frame, and glazed, to an overall size of 17 x 23 VG £1500-2000Dominique Ducharme (1840-1899) Canadian Pianist, Organist and music Educator. Ducharme studied for five years at the Conservatoire de Paris.
Militaria - Black Watch Interest - Officers' Mess silver cigar cutter/lighter bearing the presentation inscription 'Presented To The Officers 2nd Battalion Black Watch by the Officers Queens Bays, Strensall, 1898', having figural decoration depicting an Egyptian sphinx, the lighting sticks with thistle capitals, the presentation cartouche flanked by thistles, engraved battle honours to the other side, makers Mappin & Webb, Sheffield 1897, 16.25cm x 9.25cm Condition: There is a vacant aperture between the two thistles that sit on the top of the piece, there is also a hole to the front which suggests that there was perhaps a similar plate to the one reads LXXIII on the rear of the piece - **General condition consistent with age

Dolls house - scale model of a Georgian gentleman's house; hand built with separate custom-built stand, hardwood floors, windows and door frames in mahogany, fully wired with lighting inside, extensively decorated with wallpaper, carpeting to stairs, hall and landing, with a tiled kitchen, has been constructed by a gold and silver medal-winning joiner at international woodwork shows, overall dimensions 42inch long, 51inch high and 18inch deep.
An incredibly rare pair of spectacles owned and worn by Ronnie Barker during many ' Two Ronnies ' television sketches. The pair of faux tortoiseshell spectacles come with their lenses removed - exactly as they would've been for use in television (to prevent studio lighting glare). The spectacles come with a handwritten note by Ronnie Barker who had given the spectacles to a lady for a charity auction in 2001. To add further provenance the small bag in which the glasses were sent is also signed by Barker who has added ' Character spectacles used in The Two Ronnies .' Spectacles form an important part of The Two Ronnies' iconography and these spectacles are a unique opportunity to purchase a piece of British comedy history. Shane Synnott (b.1977) UNTITLED, 1999 ink and watercolour signed and dated lower right 29.50 by 21.50in. (74.9 by 54.6cm) Synnott studied Fine Art in San Francisco School of Art and also in NCAD Dublin. He uses photographic source material and images of unfamiliar lighting conditions in his paintings. They draw inspiration from his travels on the West Coast of the United States and Barcelona and address the concept of isolation. His landscape works incorporate man-made structures, such as water towers and airport control towers and are painted in soft colours. Synnott has exhibited extensively and was selected for the CAP foundation awards in 1997.
