The knopped and fluted foot posts connected by a triple-panel foot board above square block legs, 78" (198 cm) high, 55" (140 cm) wide, 82" (208 cm) in length.

A French Corbeille bed, early 20th century, the headboard and footboard with carved foliate decoration and with a distressed cream ground, matching upholstered side rails, complete with bed base. Overall width of headboard 148 cm, height of headboard 118 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The length of the bed from the rear of the back rail to the deepest part of the upholstered end is 222 cm. The internal length between the headboard and footboard is 193 cm. The width of the mattress base is 138 cm The mattress base is in two sections, each width 69 cm and each length 191 cm.
