Some additional scratches and abrasions. Some natural fading but the frame generally retains its original surface, good depth of colour and patina. There are bolts to join the elements, However some of the bolts are modern and matched to the bed. The bolts present may not be sufficient to construct the bed properly or solidly/ safely. Lacking headboard panel. The fittings/ apertures are present to the posts to accept a headboard but it is not present. The bed is not constructed whilst on view in the saleroom. One of the circular brass 'swing' covers of the posts (that cover the position of the main securing bolts) is lacking from one of the rear (head end) uprights. Measured whilst deconstructed, the internal width and depth of the bed measures 192cm x 136cm. Standard UK double mattress size is 135cm x 190cm.
