Vintage Retro : An American 1950's Dahlberg 4130 - D1 ' Pillow Speaker ' radio , serial number 34668 , the band dial and volume control to front with tone controls on the reverse . Includes circular speaker on extended cable . The Dahlberg radio was designed for use in Motels and Hospitals , the clamp being fixed to the bed headboard and the speaker hung either on the device or placed under a pillow .
