THE BLACK BEAST,a taxidermy headmount of a black fox, scientific name Vulpes vulpes, mounted on a shield, 30cm deep28cm high Condition report: Both ears have been broken off and reglued. The headboard has been repainted a darker colour. It could be a red fox dyed black, however, it is difficult to tell. Please see additional images.The head mount and shield look to be 1930s, unfortunately, we do not know the source of the fox.
