An Art Deco walnut and rosewood inlaid bedroom suite, probably Hille, each piece with patchwork panels, the suite comprising: a double headboard and footboard with stepped back, and a pair of bedside tables (fixed), each with a slide, drawer, shelf and cupboard, 233cm wide, pot cupboards, 39cm wide 37cm deep 71.5cm high, a dressing table with a shaped circular mirror over drawers and on tapered cabriole legs, 136cm wide 61cm deep 159cm high, a dressing stool, a pair of bedroom chairs, a two door wardrobe, 107cm wide 54cm deep 150cm high, a triple wardrobe, the inverted front enclosing hanging space, drawers and a secret drawer, 170cm wide 63cm deep 186cm high (8) CONDITION REPORT: One pot cupboard with edge loss and damage to the door. Dressing table - some light damage, edges worn, some veneer loss to areas of the doors, foxing to the mirror edge. One chair has veneer loss to back, seats need reupholstery. Wear through age for majority of items. Small wardrobe - dents to edges, veneer loss, minor scuffs. Triple wardrobe - veneer loss to the top of pillars and base, usual wear, struts on doors damaged.
A LATE VICTORIAN BRASS BED with horizontal and vertical square section rails^ the headboard with cylindrical base rail^ the broader supporting uprights with architectural terminals^ on castors^ complete with two iron side rails. 143cm(h) x 156cm(w) x 199cm(d) Some marks and scratches and oxidation patches^ the head board with two small rails missing.
AN EDWARDIAN BRASS DOUBLE BED^ the headboard with bowed square section top-rail^ seven vertical rails and a tubular base rail^ with capped square section uprights^ with smaller but conforming footboard. 139cm(w) Some tarnishing^ marks and scratches^ the iron side rails with welded repairs to one end.
A VICTORIAN MAHOGANY BED^ the arched^ moulded headboard with padded centre^ the footboard of similar form with panelled centre and cylindrical supports^ each with applied carved foliate crests. 185cm(h) x 149cm(w) (complete with side rails and sprung base). Fading and veneer depletions to footboard^ some damage to crests^ marks and scratches^ viewing advised.

A campaign four-poster bed, probably colonial, the headboard carved with supporters, the columns twist turned, the whole with carved foliate decoration, 152cm wide (5ft) 217cm long 210cm high CONDITION REPORT: Re-polished at some point during its life. Otherwise no obvious major faults. The sections are screwed together (view image). The bed appears old, but has been completely stripped and repolished so has the appearance of being much more recent. No apparent numbers. Timber appears to be teak or similar? Chargois, Jr., Lafayette, LA; by repute belonged to Jaques Villere, 2nd Governor of Louisiana. Note: The tester and cluster posts with Egyptian capitals and block bases on this bed are identical to those on a tester bed descended in a New Orleans family with a C. Lee pattern number stamp sold by Neal Auction Company as lot 684, July 17, 2010.

An American Rococo Carved Mahogany Half-Tester Bed An American Rococo Carved Mahogany Half-Tester Bed, mid-19th c., New Orleans, serpentine beaded tester, tapered chamfered posts, shaped crest centered by a feather carved cartouche, paneled headboard, shaped rails, conforming footboard, height 106 1/2 in., interior length 77 1/2 in., interior width 58 in Note: A related bed is in the collection of Stanton Hall, Natchez, MS. Antoher related bed bearing multiple "C. Lee" stamps, which descended in the family of Mississippi riverboat captain Tom Powell, was installed for many years at 2427 St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans. Noth feautre headboard, rails and finials nearly identical to those seen here. Reference: The Powell bed was sold by Neal Auction Company as lot 902 April 9, 2009. Another C.
