Norman Bel Geddes bedroom set, by Simmons, metal structures with the original black and cream finish, cabinet and dresser with original attached mirror, cabinet at left with one door and six drawers: 39"w x 20"d x 45"h, dresser at right with four drawers: 46.5"w x 20"d x 36"h, mirror: 28"w x 33"h, very good original condition, with matching but not shown twin beds (pair), nightstand and occasional chair, headboards: 38"w x 36.5"h, night stand: 14"w x 13"d x 23"h, chair: 19"w x 18"d x 32.5"h, good original condition Light to moderate surface scratches, scuffs and abrasions. Sturdy and structurally sound. The drawers and doors of all pieces are in good working order. Contact paper has been applied to the bottoms of the drawers and compartment in the large dresser. The short dresser has an attached bar but the mirror does not seem to attach to it. The mirror shows wear consistent with age but not chips or cracks. One headboard has hardware for a light mounted to it, but parts are missing; the other headboard has screw holes but no light. The chair seat has been reupholstered. All pieces show signs of wear consistent with age and use over time. Some finish loss in places.
Edward Wormley twin size headboard, by Dunbar, model 6726C, dark mahogany frame with the original caned pane, no footboard or rails, original finish, signed with brass D tag, 44"w x 37"h, excellent original condition Light surface scratches, scuffs and abrasions. No breaks. Sturdy and structurally sound. Light wear consistent with age and use over time.

An early 20th century French kingwood and walnut bedstead in the Louis XV taste with cast gilt bronze foliate and olive branch mounts, the quartered panelled headboard cross-banded and satinwood strung, the footboard with sunburst decoration in the Art Deco taste, raised on splayed square tapered supports, the headboard bearing metal plaque inscribed "Ebenisterie, Bronzes - Haentgés Frères Fabricants. 6 Rue Titon-Paris", the footboard and side rails bearing stencilled stamp "Haentgés Frès Fabricants 6 & 19 Rue Titon Paris" CONDITION REPORTS Overall wear and scuffs. Some separating at joints. Some pins missing from the ormolu mounts. Various knocks and chips to edges. Some fading. Some chunks and chips missing to feet which would originally have had ormolu mounts (only one of the four mounts to the feet now present).
LATE VICTORIAN BRASS DOUBLE BEDSTEAD, the cylindrical uprights enclosing square sections panels and turnings, 54 1/2" (138.5cm) wide, the headboard, 60" (152.4cm) high, two foot board, 49" (124.5cm) high, including the later castors, 81" (25.8cm) long overall, the headboard with vacant space to centre but with corresponding bolts to the uprights, suggesting a missing panel ?

Depicting Peppercorn Class A1 60135 "Madge Wildfire" with Flying Scotsman`s Headboard in the top third segment and beneath the weekdays timetable from London Kings Cross to Edinburgh Waverley via Grantham and Newcastle. Published by the Railway Executive June 1950. Extremely good condition.

A magnificent and fine quality 17th century Jacobean style carved and inlaid oak four poster bed, 20th century, the panelled tester carved with lozenges centred by flowerheads and chisel carved borders flanked by inlaid banding, the highly decorative headboard carved with the date 1985, above an array of well carved figures, birds, fruits and foliage, the three arcaded panels correspondingly carved and inlaid, the carved and turned foot posts standing solidly on geometrically moulded columns terminating on stepped square bases, complete with solid wood base structure to take a 5ft mattress (mattress not included) (illustrated)
