The cameras were returned after the trials and sold back to Gandolfi who then sold them on. According to the vendor this is one of the 3 cameras The Nuremberg Trials were a series of military tribunals held from 1945 to 1946 to prosecute prominent leaders of Nazi Germany for war crimes committed during World War II. Conducted by the Allied powers—primarily the United States, the United Kingdom, the Soviet Union, and France—the trials marked a pivotal moment in international law, establishing precedents for prosecuting crimes against humanity, war crimes, and genocide. Held in the city of Nuremberg, Germany, the trials were an attempt to bring justice to the atrocities committed by the Nazis, including the Holocaust. The International Military Tribunal (IMT) was tasked with judging 24 high-ranking Nazi officials, accused of crimes that spanned beyond traditional wartime conduct, including the mass murder of civilians. Twelve of the accused were sentenced to death, while others received prison terms. The trials were groundbreaking in creating a framework for future international justice.
