4 Corgi Toys. American La France Aerial rescue Truck. Mini Marcos GT 850 (341) in metallic maroon. Commer van with Samuelson Film service’s camera & cameraman (479), in white and metalic blue. Plus a Ghia 5000 Mangusta with a De Tomaso chassis (271), in white and pale blue. All boxed, some wear / damage. Contents VGC-Mint, minor chips.
Photographic Negatives circa 350, predominantly 3¼" x 2¼" with matching album showing circa 350 b/w photographs, 5½" x 3½ from the negatives. An interesting insight into the mid 1950`s up to the early 1960`s taken at a variety of locations in the UK showing all regions. Excellent quality in the main, indeed the photographer, Derek Cheadle from the Birmingham area, captured most, if not all on the accompanying Ensign fold-out camera. Full copyright passes to buyer. To keep the collection together, also accompanying is a hand-written account of Derek`s early spotting days around the Tyseley area and a most excellent collection of 10 Scrapbooks crammed with a significant amount of newspaper cuttings, photographs, leaflets, some tickets and pictures. Although we have made a good cross reference of negatives to photographs, we can`t absolutely guarantee that all match. Must be viewed to appreciate. Note: The photographs are on display for the public to view, the negatives are held by the auctioneers to protect.
