Barry Sheene signed photos of an unpublicised Arrows Formula 1 test, nine prints each bearing his marker pen signature and dedication, each of him testing two 1978 Arrows A1 cars at Donington Park, one also signed by and featuring team principal Jackie Oliver whose helmet he had borrowed, eight 8 by 10in., one black & white 7 by 9in.; sold with a copy of the Arrows Grand Prix Team Guide published in 1984, plus the original editorial manuscript signed by its publisher William Kimberley (11) Although he later tested with Brabham for Bernie Ecclestone, this was an impromptu arrangement after Barry asked his old friend Jackie Oliver if he could try a F1 car. The press knew nothing of the occasion and, inadvertently disguised in Oliver's crash helmet, he enjoyed two eventful days driving. His wife Stephanie duly recorded the occasion on her camera and later had Barry sign a set of prints, which were then sent to the vendor who had supplied them with spare parts from the Arrows factory.
