Completely redesigned inside and out, the W221 featured an array of new engines as well as some ground-breaking technological features, including a digitalised dashboard with night view assist, an updated collision warning system, and a new adaptive body control system.The S65 AMG version was the ultimate W221 in terms of both performance and luxury. Under the bonnet featured a 6.0-litre bi-turbocharged V12 that produced 603bhp and 738lbft of torque. This incredible amount of power and torque propelled the 2.2 ton car to 60mph in just 4.4 seconds. First supplied new on 9th March 2007 by Mercedes-Benz Bromley, this long-wheelbase S65 AMG was ordered to a very high specification. So much so that the owner utilised the Mercedes Designo service to create a fully personalised vehicle. The lengthy equipment list includes bi-xenon headlamps with cornering function, radar steer assist, park assist (with reversing camera), night view assist, the AMG drivers pack, Burmeister sound system, rear massage seats and the rear entertainment system.
