A PARCEL OF 1979 DOCTOR WHO BBC SCRIPTS FOR 'SHADA' BY DOUGLAS ADAMS inscribed with director's notes, entered to sale by Betsan Roberts, widow of the The Late Pennant Roberts credited as director. The scripts are dated 1979 and the camera script for 'Day 2, Recording A', dated Sunday 4th 1979, this has the Dr Who logo and extensive credits. The 'Shada' serial is well-known to Dr Who fans as it was 'the unaired series' of Doctor Who from the legendary Tom Baker period. The intention was for it to be the final serial of the 1979-80 season however it was never completed due to a strike action at the BBC. Douglas Adams, author of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy wrote Shada and one other Dr Who story 'The Pirate Planet'.
