Approximately 150 photographs and postcards relating to a William Elias, a painted whalebone plaque relating to the same man painted by one of his shipmates, central panel with hand painted penguin to the centre title above "Commander Marr Antarctic Expedition" and below "Graham's land February 4th 1945", also a Kodak 6/20 brownie camera used to take the photographs in the album, and a coloured map of the Falkland Islands in 1936. William Elias was an engineer in the merchant navy who served during the Falklands war.

Lots of my photography is engineering inspired as I take my time to set up the camera and try to do as much as I can in camera , and enjoy making/ engineering camera parts and making my own large format cameras.
