An aircraft camera - Type G45B, Ref No 14A (Air Ministry Issue) - The G45 gun camera was used throughout WWII by British fighter units and armament schools from 1939 onwards (including by the RNZAF). It was designed and manufactured by the Williamson company of London and Reading. It used 16mm orthochromatic film supplied in 25ft lengths with a frame speed of 16, 18 or 20 per second, the G45 was fitted as standard on Fighter Command aircraft (Spitfire and Hurricanes). It was controlled by an electrical switch operated by the gun-firing pneumatic system. On this camera, the side panel states G45 was used by Air Ministry for all aircraft photographic equipment
A Dinky Super Toys BBC TV extending mast vehicle with windows (969) boxed, a Dinky Super Toys BBC TV roving eye vehicle (968) boxed, a BBC Super Toys mobile control room (967) boxed, a 968 TV roaving eye unboxed / damaged together with a small collection of various other die cast vehicles and a Kodak Six / 20 Popular Brownie camera CONDITION REPORTS The BBC roving eye vehicle has surface scratches, accretions,. some fading and possible discolouration to the transfer stickers, some scratches and small areas of loss to the paint. There are small splits to a couple of the rubber wheels, the plastic aerial is slightly bent towards the top. The BBC mobile control room van has light surface scratches, some minor scuffs to the paint, accretions and a build up of dirt in areas. Some of the transfers are slightly faded and discoloured. The BBC extending mast vehicle has light surface scratches and some minor scuffs to the paint, accretions, dust and dirt in areas. The metal of the extending mast has areas of rust and tarnishing but the mechanism does work. All pieces have general wear and tear commensurate with age and use. See photos for details.
