A decorative and novelty walnut shell with added white metal probably silver top, in the form of a scent bottle but walnut being later than probably late 19th century top, top with embossed and chased floral and foliate design but unmarked, does not hold liquid therefore fashioned as a bottle but not actually usable, overall approx. 6.1cm long. Further details: tarnishing and general wear to top but glue visible to where it has been attached to walnut; walnut case does not hold liquid so cannot be used as a scent bottle.
