Solid Silver Harrods Canteen of Flatware, comprising twelve large forks, twelve small forks, twelve knives (one not Harrods) , twelve bread knives, twelve dessert spoons, six dessert spoons, six serving spoons, twelve tea spoons, twelve soup spoons, six coffee spoons, two sauce ladles, one soup ladle, carving set. Approx weight 3960 gms. Complete in original presentation cabinet, London hallmark, dated 1931/32, Richard Woodman, Burbidge.
An impressive carved oak long case clock, the movement by Joseph Oxley, Norwich, the silver finished chapter ring having Roman numerals with floral engraving between the figures, the brass domed face having circular engraved domed plaque with makers mark in between with gilded dolphin and floral moulding, the movement having the eight bell chiming mechanism believed to be in working order, the case depicting a bearded man surrounded by dolphins. Three weights and pendulum included, clock face being approx. 15 x 47 cms. The case being 62 x 400 x 33 cms.
