Ancient Greek silver stater of Cilicia, Kelenderis of c. 440-400 B.C., obverse:- Naked rider, whip in left hand, seated sideways on prancing horse, left, from which he is about to dismount, reverse:- Goat kneeling right, looking back on double groundline, one plain, one beaded, [K]EAEN above and object in exergue, Sear 5529var. with old ticket by nomos, which states 'SNG France 64 [same dies], SNG von Aulock 5628 [same dies]', triangular countermark on hind quarters of goat, small flan, GVF

Cnut silver penny, Quatrefoil Type, Spink 1157, obverse reads:- CNVT REX ANGLOX ['O' has central pellet], reverse reads:- +EDMVND ON NOR [The first 'O' is actually of 'horseshoe' form, there is a die-sinker fault in the first quarter where he initially cut the top segment of the quatrefoil in the wrong position, this reverse die being very new and still exhibiting stratifications across its field. The cataloguer knows of 13 others but again none from this pair of dies. Almost certainly from the 'Cambridge Hoard', full, round, as struck Mint State.
Cnut silver penny, Quatrefoil Type, Spink 1157, obverse reads:- +CNUT REX ANGLOR, reverse reads:- +ZPRVNT ON DEO [first 'N's second upright is the central cross, 'D' with thorn], there is an extra pellet in the second quarter of the reverse, under the 'Z', Thetford Mint, moneyer Sprunt. The cataloguer knows of 24 others this type, this mint but none from these dies. Almost certainly from the 'Cambridge Hoard', lightly crinkled, full, round, well centred, as struck
