In NGC holder graded MS 64 RB (6769621-007), an interesting mint error, highly lustrous, joint finest known example on NGC census.

Nearly As Struck but removed from ring mount with corresponding edge damage, subtle turquoise/pink tone to obv. legend and rev. Of the highest rarity, Bull estimates only two or three known examples and it is believed that none have appeared on the open market in the last 20 years.

Beautiful turquoise/sea green tone around legend.

Rev, crowned cruciform shields, angles plain, Lion of Nassau struck at centre, eight strings to Irish third harp, date flanking top crown, (S.3474; ESC. 97; Bull 1010). A choice and well struck example with much underlying brilliance. Almost uncirculated, with a very minor nick on the king’s portrait.

Lot 183

Mintmark harp (1632-33) both sides. The King on horseback left, shouldering sword, plume to head, CAROLVS . DG : MAG : BRIT : FRA : ET . HIB : REX. Rev, oval garnished Royal Arms, C R above, CHRISTO AVSPICE REGNO, "I reign under the auspice of Christ", 29.61gm (S. 2755; N. 2192). About Very Fine, well struck on a good round flan, largely free from the usual metal stress marks in the fields.

(S.2755; N.2193). Bold very fine, some parts better. Light even tone. Very minor flan crack at 6 o’clock and a couple of small scratches in the reverse field.

**1836 William IV British Silver Halfcrown** A British silver coin, the 1836 William IV Halfcrown, featuring the right-facing bust of King William IV on the obverse, with the inscription "GULIELMUS IIII D:G: BRITANNIAR: REX F:D:". The reverse displays a crowned, quartered royal shield, incorporating the symbols of England (three lions), Scotland (lion rampant), and Ireland (harp), surrounded by decorative elements and mantling. The coin measures approximately 32mm in diameter, with notable beading along the edge. This denomination, worth two shillings and sixpence, was struck in 0.925 silver during a short minting period, making it a collectable piece of 19th-century British numismatics.
