An unusual Sèvres sucrier and cover, date code for 1777, decorated to two sides with a harp between gilt laurel swags and beneath a ring of pink roses, the cover surmounted with a fruit finial, interlaced LL mark, and painter's mark, 8cm dia. (2) The unusual decoration may relate to an Irish family, and the sucrier was perhaps part of a commission tea or coffee service. However, no record has been found of the other pieces as yet.

A unique silver Art Nouveau dressing table set, London c.1908, markers mark S.L.R (unidentified) comprising hand mirror and hairbrush, cast with the name 'Cecily' below a Greek harp and fruit and foliate swags, the handle cast with a coiled snake to front and back, also a clothes brush and pin tray, with Greek harp and fruit and foliate swags. (8) Condition report Report by RB The Jug, spout rivet repaired, base chipped and with star cracks, general scratches. The Slop Bowl, some staining, slight rim chips, largest chips to pedestal foot. A pair of saucers and a teacup, pattern number 189: the teacup with hairline crack and some staining, the two saucers slightly discoloured. Cup and saucer, decorated a castle and a house by a lake, the teacup with a lot of rubbing to the gilt, the saucer in similar condition, and with a few glaze faults. Tea bowl, figures playing a harp, hairline cracks, some fading and discolouration.

Rare – Brady knew of only four specimens in bronze. The Irish Free State was established in 1926, formally ending centuries of British rule. The new nation, desiring a coinage distinct from that of their previous leaders, soon formed a committee with the aim of selecting new and uniquely Irish coin designs. With the poet W.B. Yeats as the chair, committee members reviewed submissions from Irish, English, and continental artists. Eventually, in an attempt to avoid inflammatory political or religious messages, the group decided on an agricultural theme, highlighting the natural bounty of Ireland.
