AN OAK LONGCASE CLOCK the eight day movement striking the hours on a bell, the 12 inch painted arched dial having painted riverscape decoration to the four corners and with a scene of a harp playing woman next to a lake within the arch, with a subsidiary seconds dial below XII o'clock, black Roman hour numerals and decorative blued steel hands, indistinctly signed with the maker's name 'Rickett', the falseplate stamped with the dialmaker's name 'Finnemore & Son, Birmingham', the oak case having mahogany crossbanding to the door and base, tapered pillars to the hood and a crested moulding and three brass finials to the top, height 221cm
The Great Seal of England of Elizabeth I, designed by Nicholas Hilliard, a wax impression c. 1586-1603, the Queen enthroned holding the Sceptre and Orb, crowned shields to either side, rev. On the reverse side, Elizabeth is shown on horseback riding left, across a field of flowering plants, beside her the Tudor Rose, Fleur-de-Lis and Irish Harp, 150mm. A piece broken at the top (where originally attached to a document).

A German silver coloured metal three-piece tea service, of oval pedestal form with half-reeding, the teapot with composition harp handle and finial to the hinged cover, 800 standard by Meli & Toledo, the teapot 22cm long, 860g all in. Presentation inscription relating to H Stevens, Gunner, HMS Hibernia, May 1899.
