The inlaid and zebrano wood nameboard bearing painted cartouche inscription: Pape, Paris & Londres, flanked with inscriptions detailing prizes won in 1834 and 1838. There are three music rests above the nameboard, the central one inscribed: PAPE facture de Pianos du ROI. PIANO CONSOLE BREVET D'INVENTION. Y A REGENCY ROSEWOOD, INLAID AND GILT-METAL MOUNTED PIER CABINETCIRCA 1810, IN THE MANNER OF JOHN MCLEANWith a raised open tier superstructure above a frieze drawer and a pleated fabric panel door, on bobbin-turned feet with castors107cm high, 53cm wide, 35cm deep Condition Report: Marks, scratches, chips and abrasions consistent with age and use.Some small repairs including: a join to the brass gallery suggesting some reworking to the upper tier; some refixing and later sections to the stringing, beading and moulding; the frieze drawer previously with interior fittings now removed.The tier shelf is slightly bowed with cracks beside the screws.Lock original to drawer, replaced to door.Some fading.Evidence of old worm to the base and backboards, some cracks to the backboards with fabric tape over them.The fabric slightly loose and worn with some holes and marks.All that said these comments on condition are only generally apparent on close inspection.Inscribed to the side of the drawer in pencil 'Bought by Rev J Grant at the Geilden House Auction Given to Mary A Grant'Please refer to additional images for visual reference to condition. A set of three Victorian mahogany balloon back dining chairs with red, green and yellow velvet upholstered seats respectively, on cabriole legs to scroll decorated feet, an Edwardian mahogany and inlaid oval dressing mirror, a needlework panelled mahogany framed fire screen and a child's bobbin turned chair, bearing ivorine label "Sidney Adams Art Furnisher Bank St., Rugby" , a gilt framed oval mirror and an embroidered vintage map of EnglandCondition ReportCondition report and additional images refer to the 3 chairs only - seats approx 45 cm from the floor. Have had some repairs especially the yellow seated one where the front leg has been off and re-attached. Knocks, bumps, etc throughout the frames. All three need re-seating. Green chair - half of the back has been off and been re-attached. General wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for further detail.

A late Victorian 17th Century style high backed armchair, the top rail with pierced and foliate scroll decoration above a rectangular needlework back, flanked by a pair of barley twist columns and outswept arms, raised on a padded needlework seat, ring turned square sectioned legs, united by bobbin turned and barley twist stretchers.

A Late 17th Century Oak Side Table, the moulded top above a two-as-one moulded drawer, on bobbin turned legs joined by a peripheral stretcher, 80cm by 50cm by 69cm Upper section good colour. Natural gap in the boards. Two small natural? splits. Brasses replaced. Moulded drawer front with small split. Old decay mainly around the block feet (see image). All feet have been re tipped. Structurally sound.
