A 19th century bobbin turned armchair, country house type. Height 103 cm, width across arms 61 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The chair really requires substantial restoration. The two top rails are secure in their mounts as are the four back rails. The left-hand stile has a fracture to turnings up from the arm join. The right-hand arm has a bracing hoop underneath the rear bobbin turned upright. There are numerous other screwed repairs and small losses to the frame particularly around the joints. The leg joints are reasonably sound. There is little movement at the front and rather more at the rear. There is some evidence of old woodworm in places. This appears to be long gone.
A 19th century Sussex style rush seat armchair, with bobbin turnings. Height to top of back 88 cm, width across arms 61 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The chair is structurally sound and in generally very good order. There are no issues with the top rail or the stiles. All joints are tight with very minimal movement. Both arms have been drilled and countersunk where they join the side rails. There are very old screw heads visible. The left-hand applied side rail moulding has a fracture. The right-hand side is in good order. The legs are in good condition and appear free from any repairs as are all stretchers. The rush seat is in reasonably good order with only very minor breaks. It is firm and solid with no significant sagging.

A FINE HISPANO MORESQUE BONE INLAID MARQUETRY TABLE, the rectangular top supported on four bobbin turned legs united by a matching 'H' shape stretcher, profusely inlaid with band of geometric decoration with a central panel of calligraphy, with applied retailer's label, 77cm long, 48cm wide, 68cm high.
