A CARVED OAK AND MARQUETRY CHEST YORKSHIRE, 17TH CENTURY The cleated, hinged top above a carved, three panel front inlaid with stylised vases of flowers, the stiles with chequer-banded panels framing applied split bobbin decoration, with two panelled drawers below and a foliate-carved apron 94cm high, 150cm wide, 63cm deep Condition Report: Generally good, structurally secure and consistent colour. Wear and tear, dents marks and scratches and shrinkage cracks due to age and use. Slight shrinkage to the lid, minor repair to moulding at front right. Inlays and applied decoration apparently complete and in good order, the lockplate and drawer pulls apparently original. Condition Report Disclaimer

A Victorian mahogany washstand with wavy three-quarter gallery, on bobbin turned end supports united by a bobbin turned stretcher, 124cm wide, 56cm deep, 86cm highall over good condition with signs of age. Scattered scuffs and scratches commensurate with age and use. left drawer a little stiff to close and open. handles with slight edge chips. Veneer loss to front and back of one end support. pendant turnings to each corner underneath the top possibly removed. compressed bun feet scuffed and scratched. top with sign of use

A large section of an ornate 19th century Brussels bobbin lace wedding veil, with two finished edges and one cut edge together with 18th century and later needle lace, an Argentan and an Alencon trimming, possibly an 18th century Valenciennes needle lace lappet and a length of Mechlin trimming (5).
A collection of late 19th century black bobbin laces. A silk Maltese bobbin lace ‘fall cap’, a long black silk stole, possibly Spanish, a scalloped edge bobbin lace bonnet veil possibly French and a large black machine made Chantilly lace cape, silk Maltese ‘fall cap’ 138cm long (4). Condition - Maltese good, bonnet veil damage to netting, stole minor damage from use and machine, Chantilly cape various areas of looped edging needs re attaching.
A wide length of Brussels bobbin lace trimming and a smaller narrower length of Brussels Point de gaze needle lace, Brussels bobbin lace edging 324cm long x 23cm deep, Brussels Point de gaze 102cm long x 13cm deep. Condition - both laces have damage, the bobbin lace has broken bracts and stains in places, the needle lace has large holes in the netting near one end.
A small collection of late 19th century laces including a cream Brussels bobbin lace collar appliquéd on to net and two similar Brussels bobbin lace lappets, a pair of cream Honiton bobbin lace cuffs and a black lace fall cap, Brussels collar 50cm wide (6). Condition - fall cap netting needs minor re stitching other items good.
A late 19th early 20th century ‘YoYo’ puffy cream silk and cream bobbin lace quilt/bedcover, made with circles of silk, drawn together as a decorative gathered to top, then stitched together in panels and between wide bobbin lace edging to create an intricate bed cover, possibly part of a trousseau, 180cm wide x 185cm long. Condition - there is one small stain on the back of one of the puffy quilting circles. The rest of the cover is in good condition.
A small oak gateleg side table, constructed using timber from Queen Victoria's Royal Yacht, 'Osborne' - early 20th century, the oval top (end detached to one side) over a single end-drawer, on block and bobbin turned legs, with bun feet. (LWH 66 x 59 x 72cm closed) * One end with a brass commemorative plaque, inscribed 'This article is made of timber taken from her late majesty Queen Victoria's royal yacht, "Osborne"'.
A Charles II oak dresser base of small proportions – the planked top with applied half-round edge moulding, over an ogee moulded and reel carved frieze, the two drawers beneath with twin mitre moulded panels and later drop brasses, divided by applied split bobbin mouldings, raised on baluster turned front supports with turned pad feet. (LWH 109 x 52.5 x 74.5 cm), alterations.
