A mixed lot, comprising; an oak lucet, 10cm, a turned boxwood combination stiletto and four division reel, the handle with a compartment, 13cm, a wooden glove darner, 14.2cm, a vegetable ivory turned needlecase, 5.5cm, a domed pincushion in ebonised turned frame, on three ball feet with a disfigured mirror to base, 5cm diameter, a bone crochet hook, a pair of steel scissors with brass arms with masks to the oval loops, 12cm, a wooden lace bobbin, and a pair of trotter form knitting needle protectors. An extremely rare sewing etui or necessaire in the form of a six shot revolver c.1900, modelled on a mid to late 19th century six shot revolver, in nickel plated brass with a black painted butt, the chamber opening when the lever is cocked to reveal a red velvet lined interior with mirror and pin slots to the edge of the chamber, containing a complete suite of gilt metal contents comprising a pair of scissors, a thread pick, a thimble and a bobbin/needle case, together with a small wooden pencil disguised as a ramrod, the butt with an end cap opening to reveal a tiny glass scent bottle with the original stopper, the top of the butt with loose suspension ring, length 6¾in. (17.25cm.), in very good condition. .
A good pair of 19th century Anglo-Dutch carved walnut throne chairs the well carved and pierced backs with shaped arched top rails and lattice carved and pierced centre splats flanked by a pair of side splats decorated with foliage and scrolls and turned and lappet carved uprights, over stuff over seats in ivory damask within downswept foliate and bead carved arms terminating in eagles` heads, raised on turned and carved cup and ball front legs and turned rear legs, united by bobbin turned side stretchers, 49in. (124.5cm.) high, 26¼in. (66.5cm.) wide. (2)
