Measures 27cm length.

An ash comb back armchair, 19th c, shaped cresting above a spindle back, scroll arms, H-stretcher, 110cm h, a vernacular oak chair, 18th c, vasular splat, panelled seat, bobbin-turned fore-stretcher, towel rail, etc., (7) The armchair re-varnished, some of which is unevenly worn and scratched in places, and encrusted with grime in places, otherwise structurally sound. The side chair with old repairs, some light losses, and signs of former worming in places. The rest in mixed, but generally good condition.

Victorian dress in pale eau-de-nil green and darker green striped silk taffeta (1865-70) edged in bobbin lace on bodice, with mother-of-pearl buttons and velvet ribbon on cuffs. A parasol in coffee-coloured silk with floral band round perimeter in pink flowers and green foliage, bone tipped and metal handle (top missing), c.1870/80. A black/cream/grey checked stole in a soft cotton edged in silk fringing (Edwardian) and a fine Georgette stole in white edged with bands of coffee-coloured material. Also an embossed silk mourning shawl with fringing in cotton. (5)
A very rare Victorian novelty silver sewing etui combined with a vinaigrette to base Sampson Mordan & Co, London, 1874, modelled as a Policeman’s Bullseye lantern / lamp, the hinged cover opening to reveal a silver gilt interior for pin storage around inner rim, pull-out bobbin with cotton reels and tape measure, topped by thimble, the hinged base housing the silver gilt vinaigrette with beautiful foliate pierced grill, stamped with retailer ‘THORNHILL’, attached handles and clip, stamped with diamond lozenge mark, 2 5/8in. (6.7cm.) high, weight 3.8 tr.oz. *Crystal glass with small inner fracture, otherwise good.
A 17th century and later English oak gate leg oval table with two demi lune drop leaves over a single frieze drawer, (alterations to top), supported by four fixed barley twist legs terminating in bobbin feet, united by a peripheral stretcher and having decorative barley twist gate legs on bobbin feet, 45¾ x 16in. (116.2 x 40.6cm.), 28¾ in. (73cm.) high, 45¾ x 57in. (116.2 x 144cm.) with leaves up. *Small area of water damage to top. Top has been replaced.
