The 12" arched brass dial with gilt spandrels and silvered chapter ring surrounding a matted centre with seconds dial and calendar aperture fronting a five-pillar eight-day weight-driven movement striking on a bell.233cm high to top of finial The clock has come from a deceased estate and is very nice condition. The case has no damage or losses, the dial again is in nice condition, the movement which is original to case and dial has been cleaned in recent years and is in good working condition but may need a service. Comes with its original brass cased weights and pendulum.

The 7" square brass dial with fine gilded winged cherubs head spandrels, silvered chapter ring with inner quarters markers and engraved matted centre with date aperture and signed mock pendulum, Strike/Not Strike lever above the 12, fronting a six pillar double fusee movement with quarter repeat on five bells, verge escapement and signed foliate engraved backplate.37cm highThe case looks to have been re-ebonised, the side edge of one of the sound frets is split. The movement is original to the dial, will require a service, it does run but isn't striking, there are two very small plugged holes in the backplate, also a vacant hole in the underside of the case. The escapement has been reconverted back to verge. The movement and case are associated.

The eight-day five pillar weight driven movement with anchor escapement and bell strike housed in an arch top case with fitted pillars and long trunk door; raised on a plinth base.207cm hough The case is in good unrestored condition, with minor losses to the lacquer, probably would have had a second plinth to the bottom of the base, two finials are missing from the hood, the movement is original to dial and case with the original seatboard, the cheeks are slightly packed as the seatboard is slightly bowed over time. The minute hand is missing, the movement is complete but dirty and will need an overhaul. Comes with weights and pendulum. The moulding from the base is present.

A GEORGE III MAHOGANY THREE 'TRAIN QUARTER' STRIKING EIGHT-DAY LONGCASE CLOCK the 12" engraved sheet brass dial with rococo spandrels, Roman chapter ring and Arabic outer minute markers beneath a signed cartoche fronting a substantial five pillar three train eight-day weight driven movement with anchor escapement, quarter strike on eight bells and rack hour strike on a single bell. The break arch case with blind fret arched hood and flame mahogany bridge top door on a panelled plinth base; fitted brass sound frets to the hood sides.225cm highSome damage to the sound fret on the left side of the hood, there is also some minor splits and losses to to the pierced sound frets on the side of the hood. The polish has rubbed slightly on the top mould of the trunk, originally the base would of had a double plinth and the bottom plinth is missing. Small piece of moulding missing from the arch of the hood door. The dial has stress cracks and also a hole at two o'clock, the second hand is missing. The movement is original to case and is complete but is dirty and will need an overhaul. Comes with pendulum but no weights. Height- 224.5cm
