A late 18th Century Louis XVI grande-sonnerie striking Pendule d'Officier mantel / carriage clock with pull trip-repeat and alarm attributed to Robert & Courvoisier, La Chaux-de-Fonds. The circular four pillar movement with chain fusee and verge escapement regulated by sprung three-arm monometallic balance with rack-and-pinion regulation to the going train, the hour and quarter striking trains driven by a single spring barrel striking the full hour on a bell followed by ting-tang notation for the quarters on a second smaller bell every quarter hour, the alarm with standing barrel wound via a line and pulley and sounding on the smaller bell, the backplate fitted with six-spoke balance bridge, adjacent regulation dial and full visible quarter and hour strikework, the 4.25 inch circular convex white enamel dial with vertical Arabic numerals, faceted minute and hour hands, steel alarm setting hand and Arabic quarter hours within the outer minute track set behind hinged milled convex glazed cast gilt brass bezel, the case with hinged handle formed as a looped snake consuming its own tail over concave-sided hipped superstructure applied with laurel wreath and oak leaf cast mounts to front and back and engraved with panels of fruiting plants over stepped shoulders to sides, the front with acanthus cast infill to lower quadrants and the sides with fluted banner panels over generous laurel rosettes, the rear matching the front but centred with a lattice pieced sound fret, on four turned feet, Measures approx; 19cm high excluding handle. No key some wear to enamel near winding holes.The partnership between Louis Courvoisier (1758-1832) and his father-in-law Captain Louis-Benjamin Robert (1732-1781) was established in 1781. In 1787 Robert died leaving his share of the business in control of his widow, Charlotte. This arrangement continued until 1811 when Louis Courvoisier took his son, Frederic Alexander took in his son to form 'Courvoisier et Cie'.The current lot is a fine textbook example of an early design of pendule portative termed 'Pendule d'Officier'. Although this form of portable timepiece originated during the 1780's they apparently became popular during the period of the Napoleonic wars, particularly amongst the officer class, hence the term 'Pendule d'Officier'. The firm of Robert and Courvoisier were the leading makers of this type of portable timepiece during this period.

Signed by artist to lower left corner. Label to verso. Set to a gilt painted frame. Measures approx; 71cm x 82cm.
A collection of porcelain figures dating from the 18th Century to include a Derby figure of Andromache Weeping Over The Ashes of Hector, decorated in coloured enamels, and picked out in gilt, on canted rectangular base, small Meissen manner figurine depicting a young boy playing a musical instrument, A Derby figure of John Milton, c1780, holding in his left hand a text from Paradise Lost, the pillar below moulded in relief with related scene, on cut cornered gilt base and another. Tallest measures approx; 26cm tall. Some minor age related wear present, firing faults to base of Andromache.
Joseph Lorenzl (1892-1950) - An early 20th Century Austrian Art Deco silvered and cold painted bronze / patinated metal figural table lighter / match striker. The figure modelled as a young girl wearing top and long trousers with painted floral details. The base of stepped form with gadrooned edge and pillar to verso with removeable striker. Usage wear present and loss to the striker. Cast signature and marked to bottom ANR Made In Austria. Measures approx; 21cm tall.

A Large Georgian style Dolls House ‘Renouf’ by Anglesey Dolls Houses, the façade with steps to front door with fan light and pillar supported porch with balcony above, glazed framed windows on three storeys and Welsh slate roof with three gable dormer windows and a widows walk, the removable front walk way revealing four windows to basement, the front opens in two wings to six rooms, hallway and landing on three floors, all room with wallpapers, flooring and curtains, roof hinges upwards to reveal three attic rooms with furniture and basement opens to three rooms with furnishings, the house is fully electrified, height 61” (155cm), width 47 ¼” (120cm) depth including front walkway 21 ¼” (54cm): (condition: excellent overall condition, front wings not closing securely and needs attention). Ca. 200-300 AD A pair of beautiful, life-size marble statues of nude children representing Harpocrates, the god of silence and secrecy, each represented elegantly standing on a plinth - one hand resting on a pillar surmounted by a pot, the other arm holding a cornucopia. The oval face framed by long, wavy hair, lotus flower to the top of the head. The gods are depicted with a youthful face, the roundness of his features exemplifying the child-like quality. He is depicted with a rounded chin and large, deep-set, almond eyes. Late Period, 30th Dynasty, Ca. 332 BC A vibrantly coloured shabti in stylised mummiform pose, moulded in a light-blue, glazed faience, wearing a tripartite wig and divine, braided beard. The chest with folded arms, clenching a pick and hoe. A band of hieroglyphic text running vertically down to the trapezoidal base, the reverse with a dorsal pillar, representing the backbone of Osiris, symbolising stability and longevity. Late Period, 27th - 30th Dynasty, Ca. 525-332 BC This green-glazed moulded figure is mummiform in representation, wearing a plain, tripartite wig with narrow, front lappets, and a broad-plaited, divine beard. The face is well modelled with clear features. The arms are crossed above the waist, the hands emerging from a shroud. The body with a T-shaped column of text. The figure stands upon a trapezoidal base, and is supported by a dorsal pillar, a symbol of stability and longevity. Late Period, Ca. 664-332 BC A vibrant blue faience amulet of Thoth, depicted with a human body and the head of an ibis, in a striding position, his left foot forward, his arms held to his sides. Late Period, Ca. 664-332 BC A finely modelled amulet of Sekhmet, the lioness-headed goddess of war, military strategy, and healing. Covered in apple-green glaze, Sekhmet presents in a striding pose with her left leg forward while wearing an ankle-length, sheath dress. Her arms are draped to her sides, while her short-cut mane drapes across the tops of her shoulders. Almond-shaped eyes, a condensed snout, perky ears, and a furrowed brow comprised her protruding visage, and her head is surmounted by a sun disc with a frontal uraeus cobra. A suspension hole is situated in the middle of the dorsal pillar to enable this figure to be worn as a pendant.
