A good Regency-style extending mahogany dining table having two extra leaves; the reeded edge top above turned turned twin pillar supports each with four down swept moulded legs terminating in brass castors (244cm leaves in (each leaf 37cm wide) x 106cm wide x 70cm high)Condition Report: Overall the condition is very good with the leaves slightly darker where stored. Has been re-polished at some stage. All six connecting clips are included. The table is supported by two long bearing stretchers. Has had restoration at some stage; minor scratches and dents commensurate with age. Pillars are OK and are of a nice dark colour, very slight kink to the top where the leaves meet the ends. A good-looking, sturdy table overall. Extended with the leaves in 244cm x 106.5cm wide

Black StoneIndia, 12th centuryDimensions: Height 48 cm by 23 cmWeight: 32522 gramsA rectangular stone panel with two frames, the left is wider and shows a man in an alcove of a pillar or temple. The man is wearing a short striped dhoti and a garland around the hip, armlets, necklaces, ear pendants and a conical headdress. His right hand is lifted in front of the chest holding prayer beads called mala and thumb touching ring finger. In his other hand he is holding a club or sword. His face is smiling gently. On the right, smaller frame we see a female figure with voluminous hair done up in the back, kneeling in the corner. Her face is shown in side profile and shows a distinctive nose, pointy chin, big eyes. She seems to be smiling mischievously. Above her is also an ornamental decoration. This panel of black stone was probably part of a temple.
