A 19th century Keswick School of Industrial Art embossed copper rectangular photograph frame, of Arts and Crafts design, decorated with entwined leaves, with oak easel support. 30 cm high, stamped K.S.I.A. to bottom edge. CONDITION REPORT: When viewed form the front the frame is in generally very good condition and is simply somewhat dirty. It is slightly out of square. The bottom edge has a slight dent towards the lefthand corner. There are stress fractures to the copper at the top right and lefthand corners of the aperture but there is no movement. The rear mirror plate or photograph retaining bracket has solder all around the edge which looks to be later and somewhat crude. The fixing for the easel support has also had several repairs and the easel support itself is loose.
