A George III mahogany serpentine dressing chest, circa 1760, in a manner of Thomas Chippendale, crossbanded top with a slight over-sailing moulded edge, above a brushing slide with fitted inlet interior, over four shaped gradual drawers with foliage swan neck brass handles, flanked by carved fretwork, on a moulded apron raised on carved bracket feet. 86cm H x 107cm W x 56cm D

Das Corpus mit partiell gold gefassten Schnitz - Friesen und Schnitzwerk in Form von Kartuschenrahmen verziert. Auf dem Schwarz - Lack - Fond erhabene Figuren, Tier-, Landschafts- und Architektur-Darstellungen. Innen rote Lackierung, ein Einlegeboden. Ca. 96 x 125 x 52 cm.
