In the Chinese Chippendale style, the pagoda-form cresting with central full figure above divided cartouche-form mirror plates and pierced rocaille apron with icicles and shells. A VICTORIAN `CHIPPENDALE REVIVAL' CARVED OAK PICTURE FRAME SECOND HALF 19TH CENTURY Surmounted by a crown and with a pierced surround of foliate C- and S-scrolls, now fitted with a mirror 166 x 134cm wide Condition Report: Size of the opening: 125 cm by 111.5 cm The frame is possibly missing a pediment on top of the frieze.
