Pair of late 18th/early 19th century mahogany Chippendale style armchairs Upholstery worn and needs replacing, top rails have both been off and repaired, historic signs of worm in places vbut appears to have been treated, joints loose in places, possibly stretchers and back legs, one of the back legs has been replaced.
A George III mahogany side chair in Chinese Chippendale style, the pagoda top rail above a fret and pierced splat back on fret carved front legs with pierced stretchers, together with a set of six George III 'Country Chippendale' mahogany side chairs each with a pierced splat back and a drop-in seat. An 18th century American red walnut 'Chippendale' dressing table, the moulded edge top with re-entrant front corners, above an arrangement of three drawers, the central drawer front with a concave reeded fan above a shaped apron with a turned pendant on cabriole legs and pad feet, 78.3cm high, 84.5cm wide, 50.6cm deep.Provenance: By family repute this table has been in the vendor's family for the last hundred years and belonged to his grandfather who ran a jute, hemp and flax business in Dundee which made the sails for the Mayflower 2 in the 1960s. Lot 120 – an American lowboy. The top has a construction crack running across it with some further hairline cracks and with losses to the varnish. Old surface marks and dents to edges. Cracks to sides. The front is more faded to the top and sides. Handles probably later. There are some funny patches to either side of the top drawer where a section of timber has been cut in and looking inside the drawer supports are later and there is later re-blocking to the top. The front left pendant is missing with old chips. Some cracks to front and to legs. The back left leg has been broken at some stage and then has dowl repairs and there is a section of the back left foot that has been chipped off and is missing.
A 19th century mahogany serving table, the rectangular plum pudding top above a dentil and blind-fret frieze in the Chinese Chippendale style with a drawer with pierced corner brackets on conforming legs and block feet, 83cm high, 209.4cm wide, 71.5cm deep. Lot 83 – Chinese Chippendale style serving table. There is a slight bow to the top with old hairline cracks, dents and some water stains. A section of the moulding on the back edge is missing. A section of veneer to the back right corner of the edge is missing with further small chips. Old damage to the fret panels on the front left leg. Old chips with losses to the dentil cornice on the frieze. Some old cracks to legs. Further small chips and losses to fret carving on frieze and legs. The back right corner bracket has been b4roken but we do have the pieces. General surface wear. There is a gap between the drawer and the left hand section.

A monumental, Edwardian, tubular bells, longcase clock, in elaborate, carved mahogany Chippendale revival case. The movement striking "Whittington, or "Westminster" chimes. The arched brass dial with three subsidiary dials "strike/silent, chime/silent" and "Whittington/Westminster", silvered and engraved chapter ring, brass Arabic numerals, pierced steel hands, pull/repeat to the movement. The hood with inlaid foliate scroll panels, the base with shield panel inlaid with boxwood and stained basket of flowers, within a scroll inlaid border. The case blind-fret cut, scroll acanthus and carved floral scrolls. (movement needs a clean, bells need re-tuning). 274 cms height x 68 cm wide approx.
