Baroque style wall console, 19th century.Carved and polychrome wood. Marble veining on the top.It shows wear due to use and the passage of time. With slight faults in the polychromy.Measurements: 90 x 187 x 55 cm.This console, made of wood and decorated with carvings on the waist and on the chambrana, continues the style between the baroque and rococo languages. It has a structure typical of the transitional style, with cabriole legs already fully formed but still perfectly differentiated from the waist. The front skirt is still large, although it now has the profile of mitered curves typical of rococo, and is decorated with rocaille crests, a motif that is highly characteristic of the new language. The same motif can be seen on the chamfer that joins the legs. The top with its mixtilinear profile is made of veined marble.
